Here is our first look at Russell Westbrook's first signature performance shoe, the Jordan "Why Not Zer0.1". The shoe is custom made to fit Westbrook's style of play; "highlighted by its smooth vamp, which, fitting for Westbrook, offers dual purpose. First and foremost, it serves the MVP’s key footwear need: forefoot containment. Westbrook plays high on his toes, always ready to push to the hoop or convert a rebound or steal into a fast break. For this, he needs stability over the sole unit, such that no added movement minimizes response when shifting direction or getting maximum bounce to the rack. Combining his style, specific performance needs and Jordan Brand soul, the end result is a futuristic silhouette that features a fused mesh upper, full-length Zoom Air unit and a compression-molded pylon foam piece engineered for flight." - Nike

adidas Collaboration with Mike WiLL Made-It, YG & Von Miller

adidas has partnered up with top producer, Mike WiLL Made-It and rapper YG to produce the ultimate pre-game anthem, which will drop on Monday before the Denver Broncos debut. The track was inspired by Von Miller’s heartbeat during training. We will also see this inspiration throughout the design of adidas Athletics’ new Z.N.E. Pulse apparel collection.

The original track “Heart of A Lion” “..represents the rising heartbeat of athletes prior to the start of the game. The theme of the all-new collection focuses on the ‘pulse moment,’ the moment right before athletes step onto the field, a moment when their heart rate peaks in anticipation.”

adidas Baseball 2017 MLB All-Star Trainers

adidas baseball has made a splash this year, with the unveil of their “Legend Pack” 2017 MLB All-Star Icon Cleats and Icon Turf Trainers. In addition to the featured LA trainers, adidas created colorways inspired by New York City, Chicago, Atlanta and Miami. The designs pay homage to the trend setting cities, reflecting their unique culture, music, art and style.

This LA Icon Turf Trainer features a mixed material plaid woven upper and pin stripe sock liner. In chrome, you will find the iconic 3 stripes located on the toe as well as the graffiti inspired adidas logo on the heel. The most unique part of the shoe is the wrap around fuzzy dice inspired heel. The shoe’s graphics are intended to evoke the chrome, graffiti and low-ride culture.

adidas is breaking a lot of firsts with these cleats and trainers. Not only are these cleats the first cleats and trainers to feature full-length BOOST, but the first clear plated adidas cleats with graphics beneath AS WELL AS the first baseball cleats to feature faux fir, faux alligator (featured on the Miami Icon cleats and trainers), suede and linen.

adidas never falls short of creativity and ingenuity when it comes to making a splash with their Icon inspired cleats and trainers.

"UCF Football will honor all five branches of the military with special helmets at Saturday's Military Appreciation game vs. Cincinnati at noon. For the first time in program history, UCF Football will don special Military Appreciation helmets. The left side of each helmet features a stars and stripes UCF stack logo, with a stars and stripes sword down the middle. Every player dressing for Saturday's game had the choice of which branch they wanted to represent on the right side of their helmet. Many chose the branch they have personal ties to."

NFL Week 9 Custom Cleat Recap

By Gavin Porter

It’s November, and in the NFL that means athletes, coaches and teams will be paying tribute to members of the United States military with the NFL’s Salute to Service campaign.

And UNISWAG has you covered on the top custom looks from this week.

Odell Beckham Jr. Salute To Service

Before the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles faced off Sunday, Odell Beckham Jr. came out in these Star Wars battle field cleats, showing Yoda lead the Jedis onto the battlefield.
Odell then switched over to these awesome brown and green camouflage bape cleats. On top of a tan base and combined with a military toothed red, white and blue Nike swoosh, ODB’s Salute to Service cleats are classy and pretty awesome.

Jalen Ramsey with the Jaguar Jumpman’s

First round pick Jalen Ramsey sported some new swag today as the Jacksonville Jaguars traveled to take on the Kansas Chiefs at Arrowhead.
Ramsey’s unique Jordan cleats highlight the Jaguar’s colors of black, gold, teal and white. The front of the defensive backs custom cleats fade from black to teal to white at the tip.

Jarvis Landry shows off the Bape Mouth

Aqua green cleats highlighted by an orange tongue helped Jarvis Landry standout Sunday morning. Add an artistically painted bape mouth to the cleat and you have one of the best pairs of cleats from around the league. The side of Landry’s cleats featured orange meshed with the Miami Dolphin’s trademark aqua.

Von Miller’s custom cleats outshine the competition

Super Bowl MVP Von Miller is all about making a splash, on the field he is a star and he has the pregame swag to back it up. Miller was seen sporting these silver spiked adidas cleats before the Denver Broncos primetime showdown with the Oakland Raiders. Miller also sported matching white and silver spiked gloves.
Who do you think had the best custom cleats during Week 9?

Eastern Michigan has a game on Election Day and to honor the day they have created these helmets.  The white base helmet will have a Stars & Stripes E on both sides.  The center stripe pays homage to all the past presidents with their names throughout the stripe.  This is a great way to take advantage of big time day that has fallen on game day.

NFL Week 7 Custom Cleats

By Gavin Porter
Last year it was a trending dance that took the athletes of the NFL by storm. This year, the dab craze is over and it’s all about pregame fire.
NFL stars are wearing all sorts of custom cleats during their pregame routine. Some players even have multiple pairs to rep before kickoff. Due to NFL regulations, athletes must wear cleats that represent their team’s colors but what they wear prior to kickoff is unregulated.
Each week UNISWAG will bring you a recap of the top custom cleats from around the league.
Let’s jump right into it.

Odell Beckham Jr. makes his presence felt in London

With taste and class, Odell Beckham Jr. stepped out onto the grass at Twickenham Stadium laced up in custom Burberry cleats. The Burberry pattern pays homage to the style developed in London, where Beckham and his Giants prevailed over the Los Angeles Rams with a victory on Sunday.
For game time Beckham busted out a pair of cleats with the trademark patterns to pay tribute to iconic British rock bands The Rolling Stones and The Who.
The switch was brilliant in that it allowed Beckham Jr. to continue to wear his customized cleats while still adhering to the NFL’s rules and regulations. Well done Odell, well done.

McKinnon is out for Harambe

Jerick McKinnon, a running back for the Minnesota Vikings, took his cleat game to whole new level on Sunday.

Before the Vikes lined-up to take on the Philadelphia Eagles, McKinnon paid his respects to Harambe; the gorilla shot and killed at the Cincinnati Zoo this past May. Harambe’s death has sparked countless memes, songs and outrage; and continues to be a pop culture topic.

Mohamad Sanu brings power to pink week

October is here and that means pink week has been in full effect. Atlanta Falcon’s wide receiver Mohamad Sanu echoed his support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month with some nostalgic custom kicks.
Sanu wore the Pink Power Ranger cleats to encourage others to #JoinTheFight and take the necessary steps to combat Breast Cancer. Not to mention the fact that these Kreative Custom cleats are awesome.
