Arizona State football honors the late Pat Tillman with these camo number 42 Tillman jerseys that are awarded to players that excel both on and off the field. The practice jerseys are worn throughout practice and spring game. "It's definitely surreal," Irabor said. "It was a lot of hard work, so it's definitely a proud moment for me. Everything that Pat Tillman stood for. .... He is Sun Devil football to us."
Coach Graham said that ASU is expanding the tradition, that was started in 2013.. The offensive jerseys will be maroon camouflage and the special-teams jerseys will be black camo. Graham said the tradition will continue into the offseason conditioning program, and he hopes it will motivate players who see teammates earn the honor.
