Georgia Tech will honor kids fighting illness at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta with their alternate uniform. The uniform draws its inspiration from a superhero to coincide with the annual “Cape Day” campaign. Found throughout the onyx gray uniform is a metallic gold hexagonal design pattern used as a metaphor towards Atlanta’s community. On the back on the neck is a Children’s “Cape Day’ crest to honor the children fighting illness every day.
Ohio State will bring out their black out unis for their matchup against Michigan State on October 5th. We have seen the Buckeyes wear these blackout unis in the past and they have become a fan favorite. The black helmets will feature chrome scarlet buckeye decals and center stripe. The black jersey will have scarlet numbers and shoulder stripes along with the pants receiving the same stripe down the sides.
Kansas State has revealed an alternate look for the Wildcats. The traditional silver and purple will be switched out for white and purple. The team has replaced their typical silver with white to give a new look, yet not straying too far from their traditional uniform. The Wildcats will have white helmets with the traditional cat head on either side. The purple jerseys will feature white stripes and numbers. To finish off the look the team will rock white pants.

The University of Florida will wear retro uniforms this week vs Auburn that feature blue jerseys, white pants, black shoes and white helmets with an "F" on the sides. The look will honor the uniforms worn during Steve Spurrier’s playing day in the 1960s.
The helmet for the throwback look will be a white shell with a grey facemask. A solid orange strip will run down the middle, while the block “F” in the circle decal will be on either side, and to finish it off the CFB 150 logo will be on the bumper of the helmet. The blue jersey is from when Steve Spurrier played quarterback for the Gators and won the Heisman Trophy in 1966. The jersey features a bold over the shoulder orange & white stripe. This marks the first time we will see the Gators in this jersey since the game on Sept. 30, 2006. The pants will be a white base with an orange and blue stripe down each leg. To finish off the look the Gators will wear crew socks that include a blue stripe at the top and black cleats with white shoelaces.
The Gamecocks will bring back the “Black Magic” retro jerseys for Week 2 as an alternate option. The old school black jerseys from the 1980’s will read Gamecocks across the chest with a mesh pattern number to go along with the old school look. The team has paired this jersey with their garnet helmet and white pants, giving them a great options for a retro look.
The Wisconsin Badgers will be wearing these special CFB 150 Anniversary uniforms this season. The team will turn back the clocks and bust out these retro uniforms that feature the old school UW logo on the sides of the helmet and across the jersey. The retro brown pants will feature the W within a circle logo that will also be on the player’s gloves when interlocked. We will see the Badgers wear these during their game on 9/28.
THE Badgers WILL MATCH UP AGAINST Northwestern WHO WILL ALSO BE WEARING THROWBACK UNIFORMS. BOTH TEAMS WILL WEAR SIMPLE UNIFORMS, TO BRING THE FEELING OF THE EARLIEST DAYS OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL TO CAMP RANDALL. Northwestern has revealed their special CFB 150 Anniversary uniforms. The Wildcats will hit the field on September 28th in these throwback uniforms. The Purple helmets will have the classic NU on either side with a subtle white stripe down the center. The white jerseys will have the same classic NU in purple across the chest. While the purple pants will have that classic N on the left hip of each player. To go along with the retro uniforms are special gloves that feature an old school wildcat logo when the palms are placed together.
The Wildcats will match up against Wisconsin who will also be wearing throwback uniforms. Both teams will wear simple uniforms, to bring the feeling of the earliest days of college football to Camp Randall. Penn Football has introduced a special throwback uniform for the team to wear this season. The Quakers will go with a 1970’s themed uniform that features a red helmet and red jersey. The red helmet will have a gray facemask with a double navy center stripe and throwback decals, just like the 1970s helmet. The helmet will be paired with a red jersey and white pants to finish off the look for the Quakers.
