West Virginia Football introduced the next chapter for their football uniforms. The Mountaineers are not straying much from their traditional look with Blue and Gold. The team will don the Nike Vapor Untouchable uniform chassis in 2019. This template gives the Mountaineers an improved fit and functionally, reduced seams and grab points, shaped inseams, seamless fronts and shoulders to help leverage speed, improved moisture absorption and better all-around comfort. West Virginia will return to four color options for their jerseys and pants to choose from for the upcoming season. After spending the past six seasons only using three colors of jerseys and pants the color gray has returned to the lineup with gray jersey and pants combo that last appeared in game action back in 2012. The 2019 version for football will be Nike's Steel Gray colorway and is a tribute to the toughness of the hard-working people in the state of West Virginia and the strength that all Mountaineers possess.
"The opportunity for Nike to work with a tradition-rich program like West Virginia is very exciting," Nike Senior Director, College Sports Marketing, Kit Morris said. "The history and success of the Mountaineers provide much to inspire us as we continue to seek to become better together. There is no finish line."
Baylor has introduced a new refreshed look for their football team. The team has drawn inspiration from their past uniform color scheme to create the new look. We see the the gold and green stand out a lot more throughout each new uniform. The helmets feature the standard BU logo lock on each side but look for Baylor to switch it up with the retro bear like they did last season. The team has also introduced a new bear logo that can be seen on the neck line of each jersey.
The Utah Utes Football team will be wearing special decals for their annual spring game this year. Each player on both sides of the ball will the double U logo with a golden ribbon attached to it. The logo is in honor of raising awareness for pediatric cancer. As well as the team will welcome welcome 10 pediatric cancer patients and their families to the annual spring game.
Missouri Football has introduced their Spring Game helmets for this season that will turn back the clocks a little. The Spring Game decals will have the retro Missouri paw logo with the M found within the paw on each side of the helmet. The center stripe will be the thick white and yellow traditional stripe that has been seen in the past for Mizzou. The stripe will remain for the Tigers as they head out of the Spring game and into next season, going away from the stripe we saw last season.
Pitt has officially transitioned back to the old school blue and yellow full time. The football team rolled out the new uniforms that will feature the yellow helmet with blue decals and facemask. The jerseys will be a simple design with the new panther head logo on the crest of the neck and will feature a special Pitt font for the numbers. On the pants going down each side is unique pattern found within the pants stripes.
The New York Jets have officially revealed the teams new look that included new logo and uniform. The team worked with Nike and the NFL to identify the new look and feel for the “New Era” of the New York Jets. During the creative process the Jets identified three colors that would be their staple within the new uniform; Gotham Green, Spotlight White and Stealth Black. On the front of the jerseys we see New York stitched across the chest to signify the team’s devolution to the city that inspired the new look. The team’s new helmet will feature a dynamic shell shine and the updated secondary logo on each side.
“It was time for a new uniform. It was time for a new Jets,” said CEO Christopher Johnson, months before the Jets’ new look was unveiled at Gotham Hall Thursday night in Manhattan. “And I think it’s extraordinary that given all this time it’s taken to get to this point, we are now as a team on the cusp of what I think is a new era. And it’s most appropriate that we’re going to start that era with a new uniform, a new look. I’m really excited about it.”
The Clemson Tigers received their ACC Championship, College Football Playoff and National Championship rings. The National Championship ring is the crown jewel out of the three rings each player and coach received and features the most intricate design. The National Championship ring features "Eye of the Tiger" "Heart of a Champion" "Best Ever 15-0" and the final score of the game 44-16 engraved on it. The face of the ring shows off a diamond encrusted Clemson Paw with the two National Championship trophies behind it along with diamonds lining the sides.
The Bears pulled out all the stops for this year’s April Fools Day. The team is celebrating their 100th season and today they released their special uniforms to honor the monumental occasion. The team took to social media to announce they will put a 1 in front of everyones jersey number in honor of 100 years of Bears Football. The team went as far as creating the jerseys and having players do a photo shoot with them, as well as creating a video with Trubisky talking about the new jerseys.
“First, I thought the idea was kind of crazy,” Trubisky said. “I’m like, ‘Why are we all changing our numbers?’ But you know what, it’s an honor to be part of this historic franchise. We’re celebrating our 100th-year anniversary and I think it will be pretty cool to put the ‘1’ in front of every single jersey number.”
At the end it was all a good April Fools Day joke that separated the Bears from the rest of the pranksters out there.
OBJ has introduced the Nike Vapor Untouchable Pro 3 OBJ cleats. The special cleats allow players to customize the style and color to match their swag and team. The cleats feature an Egyptian-inspired design picked out by OBJ. The Egyptian design features “Royalty” spelled out in the OBJ hieroglyphic language. Each pair can be customized with different colors and finishes such as chrome or matte. Check out some of the pairs below.
The Longhorns are gearing up for their Pro Day and for their future NFL players they will get decked out in special Pro Day gear. The Texas Pro Day logo will appear on all gear including shirts, jackets, shorts and compressions.
