SMU Blue Dallas Jersey
SMU has revealed their latest jersey for the upcoming season. The Mustangs will embrace their fan favorite Dallas uniform now with a blue jersey option. The uniform will feature the Triple D helmet with the blue jersey that features Dallas across the chest. On the inside of the jersey’s neckline reads “Welcome to Dallas” stitched in red. To finish off the look the Mustangs will wear white pants with white socks.
“We’re trying to brand ourselves as Dallas’ football team. That’s what we want to be. We started to talk about it as we put the branding campaign together. We thought this makes a lot of sense and fits into our vision for our football program in terms of trying to win over some of the neutral folks in Dallas.” - Sonny Dykes said in 2019
