Patriots Red Throwback Uniform
The New England Patriots are bringing back their throwback uniform. The return of the retro look was made possible with the change in the one helmet shell rule that the NFL has done away with. The Patriots can now wear white helmets that go with the red jerseys and white pants. The old school Patriot Pat logo will appear on both sides of the white helmet.
"There was a sort of understanding here that, no, we're not going to wear the silver helmets with the red throwbacks, right? That would be a different alternate uniform. We wanted to stay pure to that original throwback, and so that's why we waited and kept lobbying the league to change it back.
