The Milwaukee Bucks are bringing back their purple threads as this year’s Classic Edition Uniform. The classic look brings back the team’s iconic purple and green threads that were worn during the 1990’s and early 2000’s. The look honors the dawn of the franchise’s Big 3 era, the Bucks’ “Light It Up” that became synonymous with Ray Allen, Sam Cassell and Glenn Robinson. In addition to the purple base color, the uniforms also feature the team’s logo from that era on the shorts and the silver “BUCKS” wordmark across the chest with green and white trim around the whole uniform.

“We felt like this was the right time, and I think the team that we’re gonna put on the court this year is going to be fun and exciting to watch. And if you think of some of the players that wore this uniform in the late 90s and early 2000s from Grant Hill to Ben Wallace, Jerry Stackhouse and Lindsey Hunter, you’ve got some personalities and players on our team that are somewhat reflective or emblematic of some of those guys that played then.” -Pistons’ chief business officer Mike Zavodsky
