Calgary Stampeders Unveil New Uniforms for the 2026 CFL Season
The Stampeders officially unveiled their new uniforms for the 2026 season, introducing updated home and away looks that modernize the franchise’s classic identity while still staying true to the traditional red and white colors fans have associated with Calgary football for decades.
The refreshed uniforms feature several noticeable design updates that give the Stamps a cleaner and more aggressive on-field look heading into the new season.
One of the biggest changes comes with the redesigned shoulder striping. The updated striping pattern delivers a more modern feel while still maintaining the physical, hard-nosed identity the Stampeders brand has long represented. Calgary also introduced a familiar Western-inspired number font, adding a unique regional touch that connects directly to the team’s Alberta roots.
Additional details can be found throughout the uniform package. The Stampeders logo now sits underneath the front collar, while a bold “CGY” wordmark has been added to the back neckline of the jerseys. The same CGY branding also appears on the front hip of the pants, helping create a more connected visual identity from head to toe.
The pants themselves feature a simplified single-stripe design down the side, giving the overall look a cleaner and more streamlined appearance. The updated uniforms will continue to be paired with the team’s existing red helmets, maintaining one of the most recognizable looks in the CFL.
Calgary will also continue wearing its popular black alternate uniforms alongside the new primary home and away sets.
According to Stampeders president Jay McNeil, the goal of the redesign was to balance tradition with evolution.
“Our new uniforms for the 2026 season represent the next chapter of the Calgary Stampeders legacy,” McNeil said. “These new uniforms respect the traditions that define our club while introducing design elements that connect with the next generation of Stampeders fans.”
