LSU Championship Rings

The LSU Tigers have received their Championship Rings. Each player has received three rings, a SEC Championship Ring, College Football Playoffs Ring, and the National Championship Ring. The crown jewel of the group being the National Championship Ring is a one of kind ring that is the first to have the shape and size.

The top of the ring features a diamond LSU over a gold National Championship Trophy. There are 16 round cut stones that represent LSU’s conference titles, along with 4 marquise cut stones in honor of the team’s 4 national championships. On the one side of the ring we see the LSU Fight Song, Recipient’s last name, LSU’s Louisiana logo, the team’s 15-0 record, and recipients position/title. On the other side of the ring the team mantra, 2019, and Tiger Stadium with Geaux Tigers are present. The final touch comes on the inside of the ring with Geaux interlock LSU logo and the words ‘Standard of Performance’.

"When you design the ring, you want to represent obviously the team that just won, the 2019 team, but you want it to be a history of the whole program as well. You want those guys from the 70s and the 60s to still be proud of what you're doing today. So elements like Tiger Stadium will relate across the board. There were 102,000 people that came out to those games to support that. So to have Tiger Stadium on there isn't just because it's a pretty facade. That's the symbol for the people that are in the stadium, that supported these guys every single time they took the field." -Derek Ponamsky, special assistant to head coach Ed Orgeron.
