Notre Dame is bringing back one of its most iconic looks.
The Fighting Irish officially unveiled their 2026 "Wear Green" alternate uniform, revealing an updated green look that will take the field against Stanford on Oct. 10.
While green jerseys have become a tradition for Notre Dame during select games, this year's edition introduces one of the most noticeable updates in recent memory.
Replacing the traditional interlocking "ND" logos on the jersey shoulders is the university's iconic Leprechaun logo, giving the uniform a fresh identity while embracing one of the most recognizable symbols in Fighting Irish athletics.
The rest of the uniform stays true to Notre Dame's timeless aesthetic, allowing the bold green jersey to remain the focal point.
The subtle logo swap gives longtime fans something new without straying from the program's classic look.
Notre Dame's green uniforms have become one of college football's most anticipated alternate looks, with the program reserving them for select marquee matchups over the years.
