2020 Navy's Army-Navy Game Uniform

The 2020 Army-Navy Game uniform for Navy celebrates the United States Naval Academy’s 175 of leadership, service and tradition. The look this year is inspired by the historic architecture found at the Naval Academy Chapel and Bancroft Hall.

The hand painted helmets are inspired by the marble stone pattern found at those famous landmarks and feature a high contrast of white veins on navy stone. The custom pattern is mimicked of the whitecaps on the rough sea and named “Ocean Camo”. Each of the 160 hand painted helmets feature a unique pattern that is highlighted by the light and dark blue tones found in the stone. The center stripe of the helmet has 6 navy stripes running from front to back, paying homage to the original six frigates of the Navy. The 6 stripes are laid on custom gold flakes to symbolize the gold metallics found across The Yard.

The Ocean Came continues down to the shoulder of the jersey and runs across the top. The Naval Academy’s seal is showcased on the shoulder cap of the jersey with Navy across the chest.

Running down the sides of the pants will be the same 6 stripes that we see on the center of the helmet, representing the six frigates of the Navy. On the top of the hip will be the Marine Corps logo embroidered in. To finish off the look each player will have custom base layer, gloves and cleats with the special “Ocean Camo” throughout.
