Raptors Pay Tribute to 2019 Champions with Nostalgic 2025–26 City Edition

The Toronto Raptors are honoring their greatest era with a look that bridges past and present. the team unveiled their 2025–26 City Edition jerseys, paying homage to the 2019 championship squad the most successful team in franchise history.

This year’s City Edition is a modern remix of the Raptors’ classic 1990s aesthetic, bringing back the spirit of the team’s early days with a sleek, updated edge. According to the team, “Remixing the Raptors' classic 2021–22 City Edition jersey, we've exchanged black and gold for Canadian red and white, placing our dino in the threads that carried us to a championship in 2019.”

The result is a design that proudly celebrates the North both its roots and its rise. The jersey leans into Canada’s signature red and white palette, symbolizing national pride, while the beloved dinosaur logo takes center stage once again, channeling the nostalgia of Toronto’s most iconic look.

The Raptors describe the new uniform as “an ode to what keeps the North true.” The classic black and white accents take basketball back to basics — to the outdoor courts and streetball culture where Toronto’s basketball identity was first forged.

Fans won’t have to wait long to see the look in action. The Raptors will debut the 2025–26 City Edition uniforms on November 17 at Scotiabank Arena, when they take on the Charlotte Hornets.
