Manchester United New Home Kit

The new Manchester United home kits are here for the 2019-20 season. The new look is a tribute to the club’s infamous Treble season 20 years ago. The new jersey features an all-new crest that pays homage to their victory over Bayern Munich at the Nou Camp two decades ago. The dramatic finish lives on the jersey as the last minutes goals times are stitched on each sleeve of the new jerseys, 91st and 93rd respectively. On the bottom of the jersey we also see the dates of the three title wins displayed. The look is a great way to pay tribute to a historic past. We will get our first look at Man U in the new kit as they take on Bayern Munich at Old Trafford on May 26th.

Juventus Home Kits

Juventus has introduced their new home kits for the 2019-2020 season. The new shirt features a half black, half white split with a pink stripe down the center, leaving behind the traditional black and white striped jersey. The new design is meant to evoke the past, while igniting the future of the club through the evolution of the iconic black and white stripes. We will see the new jersey continue to have the iconic black and white colors, and as nod to the past incorporate a stripe of pink down the center. The pink stripe honors the first ever color the club played in.

“The unexpected design keeps to the tradition that is woven in the club’s DNA but has evolved to mark the progressive new era of Juventus. A clean crew neck collar with black and white sleeves is featured on the shirt, each with contrasting three stripes, creating a miss-matched stripes look on each shoulder. In addition, the kit also features CLIMALITE technology, to wick sweat and keep you dry, allowing players to experience peak performance.” -Juventus.com

2019 USWNT World Cup Kits

The US Women’s National team will compete in France for the World Cup. The team has revealed their new kits that they will wear for the historic event. The 2019 kits channel the energy of the 1999 team and all its championship glory. The all-white home kit will have a shirt that features a stripped sleeve cuff inspired by those worn by Brandi Chastain, Mia Hamm and Julie Foudy, as well as three stars above the crest in honor of the USA's world titles from ’91, ’99 and 2015. We see this theme followed up on the shorts with three stars stacked on each side similar to the the single star adorning the sides of the 1999 uniform. Knit tape on the back of the neck also displays the three stars. On the back panel of the home shirt we find a tonal gray print formed from each of the 50 states, as a symbolic reminder that the United States has their back.

For the away uniform the national team will rock a red shirt and shorts with blue socks. The shirt is highlighted by an abstraction of the American flag and the three shining stars. Inner pride on the away shirt reads “One Nation, One Team.”

Chelsea's New Home Kits

Chelsea introduced their new 2019-20 home kits that pay homage to their iconic stadium. Stamford Bridge has been the home of the Blues since 1905 and the new kits drew their inspiration from the historic stadium. The club’s classic blue jersey is covered in an all-over graphic made up of imagery of the famous North Stand, the East and West Stands and the raucous Shed End to create an abstract pattern.

“We’ve created so many memories at The Bridge over the years, so it’s only fitting that we pay tribute to such an iconic stadium through the jersey,” - Forward Eden Hazard.

The V-neck shirts features a red and white CFC monogram on the back of the collar along with a lion with “Pride of London” found on the inside. The blue shorts are complemented by white socks that have Chelsea's traditional red and blue trim up the calf.

“The Bridge is hallowed turf for Chelsea players and fans alike. It’s such a key part of the club’s identity and we are delighted to present a kit that is essentially a tribute to one of England’s oldest and most important stadiums.” -Pete Hoppins, Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director

PSG Tribute Jerseys for Notre-Dame

As PSG took the pitch against Monaco the team wore special jerseys that paid tribute to France’s beloved monument. The Notre-Dame cathedral was engulfed in a massive fire on April 15 and took nearly 400 firefighters to extinguish the blaze that saw the spiral of the monument collapse. As a tribute to the monument all the PSG players wore special jerseys that had ‘Notre-Dame’ printed on the back instead of the names of the players. While on the front of the jersey there was an image of the cathedral instead of the team’s usual sponsors’ name.

Team Stark

The gray tone for the jersey represents the grey tone of the dire wolves coloring. We see the top portion of the jersey covered in the texture of snowflakes reflecting on the family saying of “Winter is Coming”. The same phrase is placed on the back of the jersey near the neckline. Located on the bottom of the jersey is a faded forest texture that draws inspiration from Winterfell and the guardians of the north. The Stark crest is found on the chest of the jersey with a red outline to bring attention to the Weirwood tree.

Team Lannister

The Lannister family is well represented with the red tones found throughout the jersey. A rock texture has been added to tie in the home of the Lannister‘s at Casterly Rock. Around the collar are crowns that are inspired by the Lannister’s pursuit for power. The two giant golden loops found on both sides of the jerseys symbolize the royalty of the Lannister family but also bring a more important detail of their history to light. If you look directly above the shoulders of the jersey the loops create a zero which represents their famous slogan “A Lannister always pays his debts”.

Team Targaryen

The black Targaryen jersey is highlighted with fiery tones and Dragon textures. The jersey is covered in fiery volcanic cracks to represent the fire and blood of the Targaryen family. On the sleeves and collar of the jersey, there is a texture of dragon scales representing the mother of dragons. Located on the back of the collar there is a crown for the long reign of the Targaryen family throughout Westeros’ history.

Team White Walkers

The icy cold and blue tones of the White Walkers was a major inspiration for this jersey. The spiral design seen on the front is meant to represent the symbols left after the white walkers take over an area. The cold and empty souls of the white walker is signified through the light blue coloring found within the design. On the back of the jersey there are light blue veins inspired from the cold blood and heart that runs through the white walkers and their army of the dead.

Team Night’s Watch

The Nights Watch prides themselves on being the protectors of the wall and that is represented in the ice stripe on the top of the jersey. The crow is a big part of the Nights Watch identity and that is shown by the crow feather texture on the back of the midnight black jersey.
