Notre Dame 2021 Shamrock Series Uniform

The Fighting Irish have revealed their 2021 Shamrock Series uniform. This year the Shamrock Series game will be played vs Wisconsin at Soldier Field. The navy jersey features bold stripes on the shoulders with the ND logo in white. The gold stripes are meant to represent the water ways on the Chicago flag.

The gold pants feature stripes running down both sides that are a nod to the Notre Dame team that played the first football game at Soldier Field in 1924. On the palms of the gloves we see the same stripe that pays tribute to the Chicago flag that is on the pants as well. The gold helmets will remain the same for Notre Dame but the back bumper will feature the Chicago flag. The finishing touch comes on the outside of the neckline with “Graduating Champions” stitched in gold.

Wisconsin's Special 'Forward' Shamrock Series Uniform

Wisconsin is set to play Notre Dame in Chicago for the 2021 Shamrock Series game. The Badgers will have special uniforms that honor the great state of Wisconsin. The special look will feature an all white uniform base with special helmet decals with the Wisconsin W and the word Forward on a banner across it. The white jerseys will have red numbers with Wisconsin across the chest and two pinstripes on each shoulder matching the helmets center stripe. The white pants finish off the look and feature the same Forward Wisconsin W logo that is seen on the sides of the helmets.

The new uniforms will hit the field on September 25th this season for the 2021 Shamrock Series vs Notre Dame.

Throwback Uniform for Indiana Football

Indiana introduce a special throwback uniform honoring the era of IU Football greatness worn by some of the teams coached by the late Coach Bill Mallory. The helmet will see the return of the block I with a white and black center stripe to go with the black facemask. Across the chest of the jersey reads Hoosiers in place of Indiana. The letters and numbers feature the retro mesh jersey texture adding to the retro feel. The white pants will have thick red stripes running all the way down the sides straddled by two thin black stripes. Red cleats and black gloves will finish off the retro look.

We will see the Hoosiers hit the field in the special look on September 18th at home when they take on Cincinnati.

Rutgers Commemorative 9/11 Uniform

The Rutgers Football team will wear special uniforms commemorating the 20th anniversary of 9/11 this week. The Scarlet Knights will honor the 37 alumni that lost their lives on 9/11. The helmet for the special uniform will be silver with a red facemask. The right side features an outline of the Rutgers R, while the left has a black 37 representing the number of alumni lost. Also on the helmet will be some of the names of the alumni lost. The white jersey has silver horizontal stripes with “Never Forget” running down the sides. The finishing touch comes with special gloves that have “Never Forget” on the palms and the skyline with the World Trade Centers.

Special 9/11 Uniform for Nebraska

The Nebraska football team will wear special uniforms on the 20th anniversary of 9/11 this season. The uniform pays homage to all the first responders and military members, thanking them for everything they do. The all white uniform features a subtle camouflage pattern throughout it with bold red numbers on the jersey. The shoulder stripes and pants stripes are a grey coloring to match the facemask on the white helmet. The team will have special cleats, gloves, arm sleeves, etc. to match the uniform. The final touch comes on the helmet with the old NU logo on each side replacing the typical Block N.

Colorado State have revealed this season’s special Ag Day helmet. This year the rams will hit the field for Ag Day in a white helmet with triple stripes down the center with two green stripes straddling a large orange stripe. Each side of the helmet will feature the angry Ram logo in the orange and green color way. We will see these special helmets hit the field on Sept. 11th vs Vanderbilt.
