The Golden Knights’ AHL team, the Henderson Silver Knights, have revealed that the team will wear chrome helmets. The chrome helmets are meant to pay homage to the armor that was worn by knights in battle during medieval times. The Silver Knights will be the sole team in the AHL to wear an entirely metallic helmet. Fans will see them wearing the chrome helmets during every home game at Orleans Arena.
The Washington Capitals have released the team’s new third jersey. The new look is modeled after their 2018 NHL Stadium Series jersey. The front of the jersey pays tribute to Washington, D.C. with a large W that features the Washington monument structure peaking in the middle. Above the W are three stars representing Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia. Along the bottom of the jersey and on the sleeves is a bold red horizontal stripe outlined on either side with a smaller white stripe. The shoulders of the navy jersey will have a white block and red collar. The look will be finished off with navy helmets and shorts.
We will see the Capitals wear the new jersey for seven home games this season.
The NHL and Adidas have created special Reverse Retro jerseys for each NHL team for the upcoming season. The ideas gives each team a way to showcase their history with a new modern twist.

The San Jose Sharks announce the return of their 90s era jersey as their official Heritage Jersey for the 2020-21 season. This season will mark the 30th season in the league for the Sharks and the spark to wear the original expansion season road team threads. To celebrate the anniversary the Sharks will have special 30th season patches on their jerseys this season. The Sharks had originally worn this jersey from the 1991-92 season until the 1997-98 season.
The Arizona State Hockey team has introduced special 1975 throwback uniforms. The jerseys feature the sunburst ASU logo on the chest as nod to the 1975 undefeated Sun Devil Football team. On the shoulders of the jersey an ode to sparky is found with a special Sparky patch. The numbering on the jersey features a perforated style to match the old school mess football jerseys. The final nod comes on the helmets for each player, with the Sunburst decal being purposely mismatched in coloring of the helmet to maintain historical accuracy with the football helmets that were worn in the 1975.
The Minnesota Gopher hockey team has revealed special throwback threads to honor their 100th season. The look is inspired from the time when All-American legends such as Doug Woog and Lou Nanne represented the University of Minnesota. The white base jersey features a retro Gophers wordmark running diagonally down it. On the left side of the jersey’s chest and on the right bottom of the shorts there will be a special 100th season patch to finish off the retro look.
The Dallas Stars have released their new alternate blackout uniform. The alternate jersey is inspired by the city of Dallas and returning to the black jerseys they wore the first 20 years in the city.
The uniform will feature the new eye catching color, skyline green that draws its inspiration from the Dallas skyline. The front of the jersey will have the Dallas Stars logo in the skyline green with bold stripes on the sleeves and hem, that stay true to the traditional home jersey pattern. The numbers will be in stealth as they are primarily black with a skyline green outline. To finish off the look the team will wear black helmets, pants and gloves that have the skyline green worked in to them.

The Ottawa Senators have revealed the teams new look for the upcoming season. The team is rewinding the clocks and going back the their fan favorite 2D logo and retro uniforms that they wore from 1992-2007. The teams black jersey will feature red stripes with white numbers outlined in red. While the white jersey will have black and red stripes on the sleeves with black numbers. For the 2020-21 season the Senators will not have a third jersey option.
“The most striking change is the black jersey. I was just down in the dressing room because we hung some of them up for the reveal and it looks pretty sharp. It’s just a great logo and it’s a classic logo. The 3D is kind of nouveau and that’s what we heard from the fans is that they like the classic look of the 2D logo. The Calgary Flames will go full retro for the upcoming season and going forward. The team has moved their previous alternate jersey that was the red retro look from ‘80s to their primary red home jersey. The white Heritage Classic jersey will now be the team’s official away jersey. The team’s final move will be taking their current home jerseys that feature the black-crested Flaming C and moving them into their alternate jersey slot. The finishing touch will be the team moving its primary branding back to their original color scheme of red, yellow and white and removing the black accents.

The Las Vegas Knights have revealed their new Gold jerseys that will serve as the teams official third jersey and will be worn mostly during home games. This marks the first time an all metallic gold jersey has been in the NHL, that features a first of its kind technology in the metallic knitting for the jersey.
