New Uniforms for the Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons have officially launched new primary uniforms that the team will begin wearing during the 2026 NFL season, marking the start of a fresh era for the franchise.
The redesigned look blends classic Falcons identity with a forward-looking approach, honoring the team’s history while reflecting the energy surrounding a young and exciting roster.
Alongside the new primary set, the Falcons’ full uniform closet will also include the franchise’s popular 1966-inspired throwback uniforms, giving the team a mix of heritage and modern design throughout the season.
The new uniforms were developed with a clear goal: create a lasting design that feels authentic to Atlanta and unmistakably Falcons.
Rather than leaning into short-term trends, the organization focused on building a uniform system that would stand the test of time on the field.
“Atlanta has always been a city that moves with purpose, and our team is being built the same way,” said Falcons president and CEO Greg Beadles. “These uniforms are intentionally timeless. They honor the past, reflect who we are today, and signal a new era powered by a young, exciting team ready to compete.”
One of the most notable changes in the new uniform set is the reintroduction of red as the team’s primary home jersey color.
Red has long been associated with some of the most memorable moments in franchise history, and the Falcons are leaning back into that identity as they enter a new chapter.
“Red has always meant something different in Atlanta. It's when our best football has been played, where this city has shown its heart, and when I experienced the greatest moments of my career,” said Matt Ryan, now serving as the team’s president of football.
“When you put on red, you feel the history, the pride, and the energy that comes with being a Falcon. Bringing it back honors what's been built here and fueling what's coming next, which I'm very excited for our fans to see.”
The Falcons’ updated uniform closet includes several elements designed to balance tradition with performance and visual identity.
