Oklahoma City Thunder Unveil Stunning 2024-25 NBA Championship Rings
The Oklahoma City Thunder capped off their championship journey in dazzling fashion, revealing their 2024-25 NBA Championship rings during a nationally televised ceremony before their home opener against the Houston Rockets. The moment marked the franchise’s first-ever title celebration, and the rings themselves are nothing short of breathtaking.
Each ring features over 800 custom-cut, hand-set gemstones, roughly the same number of three-pointers the Thunder launched during their playoff run.
At the top of each ring sits the Thunder’s OKC shield logo, encrusted with diamonds that symbolize the unity of the team. Surrounding it are 100 diamonds set in 14-karat gold, with the words “NBA Champions” and the Larry O’Brien Trophy gleaming at the center.
But the most striking feature lies beneath the surface. The ring includes a “ring-within-the-ring” concept, where the top opens to reveal a bespoke inner band. Inside, each player’s signature is engraved, along with diamonds forming their jersey number. The inner band even includes 94 diamonds along its edges, with every teammate’s number wrapping around, representing their bond. Players can wear this inner band as a standalone piece — a modern, personal twist on the classic championship ring.
Other meaningful details honor both the team’s success and Oklahoma’s roots:
“Oklahoma City” appears in 14-karat white gold on the side.
The team’s 68-14 regular-season record shines between blue and orange sapphires — the Thunder’s signature colors.
The outer-palm side features a tribute to the Oklahoma City National Memorial’s Gates of Time and Reflecting Pool, crafted in white gold with sapphires that mimic the memorial’s serene water.
Inside, the ring is engraved with “Labor Omnia Vincit,” the state motto meaning “Work conquers all things.”
More than jewelry, these rings are a testament to teamwork, perseverance, and the city that stood behind them every step of the way. The Thunder didn’t just win a championship, they built a legacy worthy of 800 diamonds’ worth of shine.
