USF Football Brings Back the “Gold Standard” Helmets
One of college football’s flashiest alternate helmets is officially making its return. South Florida Bulls football is bringing back its fan-favorite “Gold Standard” helmets for the 2026 season, and for uniform fans, this is easily one of the best helmet returns of the year.
Known for their ultra-reflective gold flake finish, the helmets have become one of the signature alternate looks in USF’s uniform lineup over the past decade.
