The Memphis Grizzlies are celebrating their 25th anniversary season and have introduced two classic uniforms the team will wear over the next two seasons. The uniforms will feature the bold logos and designs seen among the NBA teams in the mid-to-late 1990s. During the 2019-20 season the Grizzlies will pay tribute to their time in Vancouver by wearing the turquoise, red, white and gold uniforms.
For the 2020-21 season, the Grizzlies will honor the first era of the Grizzlies in Memphis. The team will wear the all black uniforms, with the red, white and turquoise on the sides with ‘Memphis’ on the chest.
“The opportunity to connect the history of our franchise over two consecutive seasons deserved a special approach. It was an easy decision to bring back the iconic teal uniforms for the upcoming 25th Season of the Franchise and give our fans the classic look from the Vancouver era that they love. To go along with the classic uniforms the team will also have a classic edition court that features the same likeness along with the 25th anniversary logos and a border showing the history of the franchise's many iconic looks.
Cal Basketball revealed special throwback uniforms for their upcoming game against St. Mary’s. The classic look turns back the clock to the time of Jason Kidd with the arched California wordmark across the front of the jersey. The white uniform will be highlighted with navy and gold piping to match the numbers and letters.
The Syracuse Men’s Basketball team has revealed their uniforms that connect the past with the future. The team will have two options when it comes to the Syracuse script uniforms. The orange look features the numbers and Syracuse script in white with thick white and navy piping. While the white uniform will have the orange Syracuse script and numbering with orange and navy piping. A great way to merge the past with the present.
Rutgers Men’s Basketball has revealed their throwback uniform for the season. The retro unis are inspired from the uniforms during the 1970s era. The white base uniform will feature ‘Knights’ in script across the chest of each jersey. The jersey and shorts are both trimmed in scarlet and black, while the hem of the shorts will feature the outlined state of New Jersey with the head of a Knight in the center. We will see the Knights hit the court in the retro look Wednesday, December 11th when they take on Wisconsin.

Colorado State Men’s Basketball will turn back the clocks with special throwback uniforms. The team is taking it back to 1966 with the Colorado State University uniforms. On the front of the white jerseys with the retro Colorado State University script wordmark in green and gold. Below the wordmark will be the players numbers using the same green color with the gold trim. The team will hit the court in the retro look Friday, December 13th vs in state rival Colorado.
The Miami Heat has revealed their newest uniform in the Vice ‘City Edition’ lineup, The Vice Wave. The special uni will be a fan favorite once again as it come in with a neon blue base and neon pink numbers and accents. On the chest of the flashy jersey will read Miami in the Vice font. We will see the Vice Wave uniform twenty-two times this season.
The Hornets reveal their new Cool Gray ‘City Edition’ uniform, this marks the first Gray uniform in franchise history. The cool gray became an accent color the Hornets upon their return to Charlotte in 2014. The new uniform features the team’s abbreviation “CHA” across the chest, marking the first season we will see the team use the abbreviation as the primary mark. On the sides of the jersey and shorts we see a cell pattern, which is a new look added to the team’s uniform design. To finish off the details the Buzz City logo will appear on the front of the short’s waistband. We will see the new look for the Hornets a total of fifteen time this season.
This season’s ‘City Edition’ uniform for the Nets pays tribute to Brooklyn’s Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood, which was home to one of the borough’s most famous native sons, The Notorious B.I.G. The jersey will feature “BED-STUY” emblazoned across the chest, with the multi-color “Brooklyn Camo” pattern running down the sides of the jersey and shorts as well as used for the trim around the neck and arms.
“The BED-STUY mark was designed by renowned Brooklyn artist Eric Haze, whose work can also be seen on the team’s 2019-20 Statement Edition uniform, as well as on the Nets’ City Edition uniforms from last season. As with all Nets uniforms, the jersey will feature the Infor patch on the top left chest.” - Brooklyn Nets
We will see the Nets in their new look a total of twenty-eight times this season, with its debut on November 29th.
The Indiana Pacers release their new ‘City Edition’ uniform that embodies the rich tradition of high-speed sports in Indiana. The look is similar to the ‘City Edition’ uniform from the 2017-18 season, but this year the team will go with a white base uniform. The numbers are featured in circle to give the classic IndyCar vibe, while on the left side of the jersey is a two tone blue checker pattern tying into the racing culture even more. We will see the Pacers in their new uniform fifteen times this season debuting on November 27.
The new ‘City Edition’ uniform for the Boston Celtics pays tribute to city’s rich history. The solid green base uniform is highlighted with gold letters, numbers and trim, giving it a similar look to the Celtics 2006 St. Patrick’s Day uniform. The Boston across the chest as well as the numbers of the jersey features a unique Celtics font that ties in with the Celtic knot on the waistband of the shorts.
The Celtics will hit the court in their new look on November 27th.
