The Denver Nuggets have introduced their new 2022-23 Statement Edition uniform. The look is an evolved version of the fan favorite Mile High City uniform we have seen the Nuggets wear in the past. The new Mile High City uniform features two gold strikes included in the Nuggets’ global icon logo as well as the secondary Mile High City logo, both being featured on the chest. The jersey number, which was previously shaded in white, will now be in sunshine yellow, meant to reflect the 300-plus days of sunshine Denver annually receives. The finishing touch comes with the addition of flatiron red trimming out the different elements.

The BYU Men’s Basketball team revealed a new white uniform for the upcoming season. The new look has white BYU lettering across the chest replacing the old Brigham Young wordmark we saw in the past. The royal numbers on the jersey will feature black outline on the new look. While, the shorts have removed the mountain design and now have a simple stripe down the side with a BYU basketball logo on the edge of the right leg.
The Los Angeles Lakers revealed the team’s 2022-23 Statement Edition uniform. The purple base uniform will feature Lakers across the chest in gold, black numbers outlined in gold and black and gold piping throughout the new look. The phrase “Leave a Legacy” is placed above the jersey’s jock tag. With the finishing touch on the back of the neck with the number 17, representing the number of championships the organization has won.
The Orlando Magic have released their latest new look with the 2022-23 Statement Edition uniform. The look is a nod to the past with the black pinstripes on the blue based uniform. We see the black star pattern cascades along the sides, paying homage to the uniforms from 1998-2003 and giving a modern twist on a Magic classic, stars and pinstripes.
We will see the uniform hit the hardwood for the Magic’s home season opener on October 22nd and will be worn for a total of 10 games this season.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have released their new Statement Edition uniform. The dark look was inspired by the “Wolfpack’s nighttime journey” with the contrasting neon green and grey colors. The dark jersey features the Timberwolves wordmark in white across the chest with neon green piping and number outlines.

The Charlotte Hornets have revealed their newest Statement Edition uniform. The purple uniform will feature the Hornets wordmark across the chest in white with a teal border. The players numbers follow along with the white and teal color wary. The new uniform will also have a #6 patch that will be worn on the right shoulder of all NBA uniforms in memory of Bill Russell. We will see the hornets have a special court to match the new Statement Edition uniforms this season.
The Brooklyn Nets have revealed their 2022-23 Statement Edition uniform. The black on black look is said to be inspired by the “Classic uniform of New Yorkers”. The jersey features the NETS wordmark across the chest outlined in platinum. On the sides of the jersey is the team’s signature herringbone pattern that runs down into the shorts.

We will see the Nets debut the Statement Edition uniform on court on Oct. 21 vs. the Toronto Raptors and wear them at each of the team’s Friday night home games as part of this season’s Friday Night Live events.
The Detroit Pistons have revealed their new Statement Edition jersey. The black jersey features two horizontal blue and red stripes across the chest. Above the stripes on the chest is DET in black with white trim. The black shorts have the same striping pattern that is seen on the jersey running down each leg vertically.
The uniform originated from a voicemail left at the Detroit Pistons head offices back in the fall of 2020 by frustrated fan Cochise Hardy. “Man, we are so tired. I mean, it’s time to ramp it up. We rebuilding; we need some new jerseys. We need some more vivid colours, man. We here for Detroit, give us some dog ass black and blue, I don’t know just give us somethin’.” - Hardy’s Voicemail
The Pistons will have a matching court that will go along with the new Statement Edition threads.
The Miami Heat have revealed their Classic Edition uniform for the upcoming NBA Season. In honor of the franchises 35 years of existence the Heat will wear their first ever white jersey. The look first made its appearance back in 1988 with a bold design. The retro Heat wordmark is across the chest in red with black and white trim. The numbers feature the old school drop shadow outline, and red and orange piping finishes off the retro look.
We will see the Heat wear the white jerseys from their debut season in 20 games this year as its Classic Edition jersey for the 2022-23 NBA season.
The Houston Rockets have revealed their Hardwood Classic uniform of the 2022-23 season. The team will honor the franchise’s beginning in San Diego with the green and gold colorway. The Hardwood Classic Edition jersey features Rockets across the chest in gold with a green drop shadow. The green and white piping is seen throughout the entire uniform with a special horizontal stripe pattern at the top of the shorts.
The Rockets will wear the Hardwood Classic look for six games this coming season.
