The Giants will breakout their Retro Color Rush uniforms for their Thursday Night matchup against NFC East rival, the Philadelphia Eagles. The retro color rush look pays tribute to the 1980s Giants teams with the all white uniform, bordered with red and blue stripes. The helmet to go along with the classic uniform will feature the old school “GIANTS” logo on the sides with a white facemask paying tribute to the Big Blue Wrecking Crew.

Utah has released their look for Week 7. The Utes will come out in their Red on Red jersey and pants combination. For the Utes Proud game the team will wear special white helmets that feature Native American tribal patterns. The Utah Football team will pay tribute to the Ute Indian Tribe with these special helmets.

Oregon State is bringing back the retro Benny logo for their throwback homecoming uniforms. The Beavers will wear these throwbacks on homecoming weekend when they take on Cal. The special uniform will feature retro Benny on either side of the helmet, this marks only the second time that they have done this. To go along with the retro helmet the team will have special throwback jerseys that will feature an old school shoulder stripe and retro Benny on the front of the neck. On the pants we will see the old school script Oregon State on the hip with a retro side stripe.

Texas Tech has released their 1970 throwback uniforms that they will wear on October 11th against TCU. The retro look is inspired from the 1970s uniforms with a focus on the iconic Texas Tech double Ts. The white helmets will feature a version worn by the team in 1974 that features the double T on each side, two red stars on each side, and a red facemask.

“The Double T is the most iconic design feature of the Texas Tech football uniform, and was an obvious choice for us to focus on when creating this throwback uniform. Texas Tech will be playing in-state rival TCU in these uniforms, so revisiting this era – when both teams were part of the now-dissolved Southwest Conference made up of mostly Texas-based schools – made perfect sense.” - Nick Billiris, Senior Design Director of Team Sports at Under Armour.

The uniform will also feature white gloves with the red Double T outlined in black, white pants with a red stripe between two black stripes, and a white jersey with red Texas Tech lettering and red numbers boldly outlined in black.

Miami of Ohio football will wear special helmets on October 13th in honor of Cancer Awareness. Each player will have the option to select a colored ribbon that symbolize how they have been affected by cancer. The players have the option to select red to signify all blood cancers, orange to raise awareness for kidney cancer and leukemia, pink ribbons for breast cancer, blue ribbons will signify colon cancer and esophageal cancer, purple ribbons will represent leiomyosarcoma, pancreatic cancer, and testicular cancer, yellow ribbons will support bladder cancer, sarcoma/bone cancer, the green ribbons will represent liver cancer, ovarian cancer and cervical cancer, and black ribbons will signify melanoma. The helmets will go up for auction here.
