The Minnesota Vikings are going with a whiteout look this week when they play the New York Giants on 12/24. The team will pair their white jersey with white pants that have a purple and yellow stripe running down the sides giving them the whiteout look.
The CLeveland Browns are bringing back their white facemasks this week. The subtle change takes us back to when the team initially wore the white masks from 1975-95 bringing back NOSTALGIA of the “Kardiac Kids”. THe Browns will pair their brown jersey and orange pants with the white facemask this week when they take on the Baltimore Ravens.
The Army Black knights will honor the soldiers of the 1st Armored Division during world world ii with this year’s SPECIAL uniforms for the Army vs Navy game. The uniform features design elements inspired by the tanks and armored vehicles that were used by “Iron Soldiers” of the 1st Armored Division.
“Operation Torch marked the 1st Armored Division’s entry into the crucible of combat. The resilience, grit, and commitment demonstrated by the soldiers ultimately resulted in the defeat of Axis forces in North Africa. In the harsh desert against a determined enemy, the members of the 1st Armored Division were forged into “Iron Soldiers” and learned the lessons that would guide them to success in subsequent operations in Italy and Western Europe.” - Army
The helmets for the special uniform feature the 1st armored division unit patch on the side, symbolizing the cohesive nature of the division by incorporating the tricolors of cavalry yellow, INFANTRY blue, and field artillery red.
The jerseys shoulder design is mocked after the World War II era M3 tanks, UTILIZING the 1st armored division color scheme, striping and star. Each player’s jersey will have the cadet’s REGIMENT number and company MASCOT on their right chest area, with the number being located within the star and mascot name below it. The special number font was inspired directly from the typograph seen on the M3 tanks.
The finishing touch come with the ‘mud splatter’ design on the jersey and helmet, signifying the reality of what tanks and armored vehicles looked like during operation torch and the nroth africa campaign.
Army will take the field in Philadelphia on December 10th in the special uniform as they play Navy in the annual Army vs Navy Game.
The Navy MIDSHIPMEN have revealed a special astronaut-themed uniform for the Army vs Navy game. The white uniform FEATURES red stripes and the American flag MIMICKING the marks on the NASA spacewalk suit. The Helvetica font used for the numbers and wordmark has been used by NASA extensively for decades, from the space shuttle to signage and printouts.
The pants for the special look are highlighted with side-panels that feature the NASA astronaut pin which was adopted in 1963. The silver pin is awarded to astronauts after completing basic training and the gold pin is awarded after completion of a spaceflight mission. The pin was first given to Mercury 7 astronauts. The gloves also have the astronaut pin on the palms.
The crown jewel of the uniform is the hand painted helmets. The right side features the iconic photo of McCandless untethered with the Earth in the background, while the other side features the classic NASA logo with the Moon behind it. The center stripe has the ASTRONAUT pin.
The Atlanta Falcons have brought back their red helmets to be worn with the team’s throwback uniform. The red helmet pays homage to the club’s inaugural team with the red shell, grey facemask and throwback Falcon logo on the sides. The helmet's color scheme was designed to represent rival schools Georgia Tech and the University of Georgia. The Falcons ended up wearing this version of the helmet from 1966 to 1969 before they removed the gold trim for the 1970 season.

The Ohio State Buckeyes RECEIVED special cleats for their rivalry game vs Michigan. The cleats are inspired by LeBron James’ first SIGNATURE shoe. The cleats are mostly black with a scarlet Nike Swoosh outlined in gray on both sides, with scarlet accents throughout. The Buckeyes’ primary logo is on the tongue above LeBron’s original logo, which was on the Zoom Generation 1.
The Indianapolis Colts have introduced special throwback uniforms that honor the late 1950 teams. The look draws its inspiration from the 1956 Colts with different subtle elements. The iconic Colts horseshoes have been moved to the back straddling the bold blue center stripe. The numbers on the jersey will mirror that of the 1950s uniforms. On the shoulders we see the player numbers raised and the classic three stripes in replace of the two, seen on today’s jersey. The Colts will take the field in the special throwback look on November 28th vs the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Dallas Cowboys have announced the team will wear an alternate helmet for their game on Thanksgiving Day. The Cowboys will go with their throwback white helmet that features a navy star on either side with a gray facemask and navy center stripes. The classic helmet will be paired with the team’s throwback uniforms for the game against the New York Giants.
