Saskatchewan Roughriders Unveil 2025 Grey Cup Championship Ring

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have officially unveiled their 2025 Grey Cup Championship ring, presented to players, coaches, and staff.

the championship piece was designed through a collaborative effort between quarterback Trevor Harris, linebacker Jameer Thurman, long snapper Jorgen Hus, Head Coach Corey Mace, and Vice President of Football Operations and General Manager Jeremy O'Day. The final design serves as a tribute to the commitment, resilience, and belief that fueled Saskatchewan's championship season.

One of the ring's most distinctive features is its football-shaped removable top. The fully encrusted design showcases the Roughriders' primary logo and is highlighted by 14 green baguette stones, representing each victory earned during the championship campaign. The 112th Grey Cup Trophy is also prominently displayed and accented with five stones, symbolizing the franchise's five Grey Cup championships.

Inside the ring, several meaningful details tell the story of the championship journey. An authentic piece of the Grey Cup game ball is embedded within the design, while precision laser-engraved tick marks pay homage to the iconic wooden piece sourced from a Mosaic Company mine in Saskatchewan that hangs in the tunnel leading to the field at Mosaic Stadium. Throughout the season, a branded tick was added after every victory, representing the team's relentless 1-0 mentality and focus on the next challenge.

The interior design is framed by the years of all five Roughriders Grey Cup championships, connecting the current title-winning team to the generations of players who helped build the franchise's legacy.

Additional details continue around the exterior of the ring. The outer edge features Grey Cup Champions wordmarks seamlessly wrapped with the Saskatchewan Roughriders name, while the band prominently displays the phrase "Rider Nation" in recognition of the passionate fanbase that has supported the club throughout its history.

The result is a championship ring that goes beyond celebrating a title. Every element tells a story of the season, the culture, and the people who helped bring another Grey Cup to Saskatchewan, creating a lasting symbol of one of the most memorable championship runs in franchise history.
