Texas Tech Unveils “GalvanICED” Uniform in Collaboration with Patrick Mahomes
Texas Tech football is turning up the heat with an icy new look. The Red Raiders will take the field in a brand-new GalvanICED uniform, the latest evolution of the program’s ongoing partnership with adidas and Texas Tech legend Patrick Mahomes.
This white version follows last year’s groundbreaking Mahomes Strategy uniform, which made history by featuring Mahomes’ signature Gladiator logo on official on-field gear, one of the first times a personal athlete brand was incorporated into college football uniforms.
The GalvanICED look flips the script from the original dark grey set, delivering a crisp all-white aesthetic accented by metallic details and Red Raider flair. The uniform integrates Texas Tech’s signature Power Red across the numbers and trim while metallic finishes give the helmet, logos, and numbers an electric shine under the lights.
As with last year’s design, inspiration comes from the 45-degree bevels found throughout Texas Tech’s campus architecture and the sharp angles of Mahomes’ personal brand. The result is a uniform that blends school pride with the edge of an MVP quarterback who has redefined the game.
When the Red Raiders hit the field on November 8 in GalvanICED, they’ll do so in a uniform that blends tradition, innovation, and superstar influence. With Patrick Mahomes’ brand at the heart of the design, Texas Tech continues to lead the charge in pushing the boundaries of what college football uniforms can represent.
