The Tennessee Vols are keeping it classic with their basketball uniform. The team will rock a throwback inspired uniform. On the front of the jersey shows off the wordmark, Tennessee across the chest with the player’s number followed by Volunteers underneath it. The power T is located on the side of the shorts within a thick orange stripe.
Texas Tech Basketball took the court last night at Madison Square Garden in team issued custom kicks. Each player received a custom painted pair of shoes that featured the double T on the front of the toe, the Texas Tech wordmark and each players names on the sides. The red based shoes were paired with the team’s black jersey and black shorts combo.
The NBA has revealed their newest wave of uniforms for the 16 teams that mad ethe 2017-18 NBA playoffs. The new uniforms will be called the “Earned Edition” uniforms and will be an added perk for the teams that make the playoffs the following year. The new looks are variations of each team’s Statement or City Edition uniforms with unique twist to help them stand out even more.
The Oklahoma City Thunder’s ‘Earned Edition’ uniforms take on a bold color scheme with the team’s orange as the base for the uni. The uniform’s bold coloring is inspired by the state's striking sunsets. The chest wordmark features the fissured OKC that we saw on the team’s ‘Statement Edition’ uniform. The shorts and jersey are lined with navy blue trim and a hint of light blue. The backs of the jerseys feature the player’s last name located under the numbers.
The Evansville Purple Aces basketball team is throwing it back with these retro uniforms. The team will wear an orange jersey and shorts combo with purple stripes and accents. The jersey will go back to the retro sleeves with the Aces spelled out in script across the chest.
The Philadelphia 76ers Earned Edition Uniform brings the iconic 13-star chest design onto a white base. We saw the team release this design with their City Edition uniform and draw inspiration from Rocky & Creed.
Milwaukee has incorporated their green color scheme into their Earned Edition uniform. We see that the Earned Edition uniform has the same progressive blocking from their City Edition uniforms for this season.
The Timberwolves have released their ‘Earned Edition’ uniform and draw direct inspiration from their ‘City Edition’ uniform. The team pays tribute to music legend Prince again with a white base uniform featuring purple accents and special font inspired by Prince.
The Miami Heat have released their ‘Earned Edition’ uniforms they are naming ‘Sunset Vice’. The uniform will keep with the team’s vice colors with a base of hot pink and white and teal accents. Across the chest reads Miami in the vice script the team has created.
Georgia Tech has revealed their new winter white uniforms. The all white look will feature gold numbers and lettering on throughout the uni. The jersey showcases “Ramblin’ Wreck” on the front of the jersey, wrapped above and below the front number. Clean white accessories will finish off the winter white look for the Yellow Jackets.
