The Kansas Jayhawks will take the field this week vs in-state rival Kansas State in a special uniform. The team will wear a student-athlete designed #OneTeam jersey. The jersey, which was specifically designed by KU’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), is meant to show support to the #OneTeam initiative which began back in 2017. The mission of #OneTeam campaign is to celebrate diversity within the Kansas’ student-athlete body.
The alternate look features a grey jersey with with white numbers outlined in blue and red. Across the chest reads Kansas in red along with one red and one blue sleeve with the player’s number on them.

Texas A&M football has revealed special Aggie Ring-themed cleat to wear this Saturday in their Senior Day matchup. The special cleat features details that were inspired by the coveted Aggie Ring, with both sides of the cleat mimimic that of the details found on the Aggie Ring itself. The crown jewels comes in the form of a lace jewel that features the Aggie Ring crest. The entire team will get a pair of cleats to wear but only players who already have their Aggie Ring or have met the requirements and expect to receive the Aggie Ring will be able to feature the lace jewel.
“Adidas came to us with the concept of doing an Aggie Ring commemorative cleat that we would wear for senior day. We thought it was a great idea to showcase one, our seniors on the team, and two, honor the academic side and the Aggie Ring itself.” - Matt Watson, Assistant AD for Equipment
The Arizona Cardinals will hit the field Thursday Night in their all black ‘Color Rush’ uniform. The team’s blackout Color Rush uniforms features black jersey and pants with red numbers and piping. The uniform is very fitting for their game on Thursday Night which is also Halloween.
Colorado State will bust out their special ‘State Pride’ uniforms for their game this weekend. The special uniform features the colors and marks of the Colorado state flag throughout the entire uniform. The white helmet features the Colorado C on each side with a blue mask. We see the same Colorado C on the shoulders of the jerseys, along with a blue letters and numbers to fully embrace the state flag. The fan favorite uniform started on the gridiron and has spread to other Colorado State sports team tying in the entire athletics program.
Arizona is dusting off a throwback uniform from the ‘Desert Swarm’ era of the program. The uniforms are from the Dick Tomey era at Arizona, whom is considered a coaching legend and holds the record as the winningest football coach in school history. Tomey passed away in May at the age of 80 after battling lung cancer for months. The team will wear these special uniforms in remembrance of their late coach during this week’s homecoming game.

The Miami Dolphins introduced their new throwback uniforms during the team’s off season. The fan favorite white version of the retro uniforms has every football fan excited to see them take the field for Week 8 matchup vs the Steelers on Monday Night. Will the Dolphins go back to the retro look full time?
Maryland Football has revealed their throwback uniform the team will wear this season for homecoming. The team will turn the clocks back to when the Terps wore their script helmets. The new helmet will come in a red based colorway that feature a white facemask and white and black stripe down the center. The sides of the helmet will feature the iconic Terps script in white with a black outline. The retro look will pair with a throwback inspired red jersey that shows off a mess inspired numbering pattern. The team will finish off the look with white pants that feature the Terps script on the left hip in red. This continues Marylands success of producing quality throwback uniforms.
UCF has revealed the special uniforms for their 2019 Space Game. The uniform features a hand painted helmet that is meant to resemble the moon’s dark and light sides, split down the middle. On the front bumpers of the helmet is the 321 area code in recognition of the area code of the Space Coast of Florida near UCF's campus. The uniform features constellations that are used to represent roads and buildings on the UCF Campus. On the sleeves of each jersey is a Pegasus constellation in place of the Pegasus logo seen on their typical jerseys. Again this year we will see the return of the citronaut to the center of the neck line on the front of the jerseys as well. On the pants there is a unique design that was inspired by the USA mark meant to match that of the Apollo 11 rocket.
The Knights will hit the field in their space unis on 11.2 when they face Houston.
The Bears are set to wear their orange jerseys during their Week 8 matchup vs the Los Angeles Chargers.
“I think it’s a great look and it’s a modern-day look that’s reminiscent of our past,” said the Bears chairman and grandson of franchise founder George Halas.
We last saw Chicago in the orange jersey back in the 2011 season. This year for the first time the NFL is allowing teams to wear an alternate jersey as well as a classic jersey or "throwback".
