The Polynesian Bowl has revealed their 2020 helmets for the game on January 18th. The helmets will continue the tradition of having a unique design inspired by KAPA or TAPA, which is a barkcloth that is prepared and utilized by families throughout Polynesia. The helmets for this year represent the Hawaiian belief of a natural balance between ocean and land with blue to symbolize the sea and white to symbolize land.

The 2020 All-American Bowl uniforms have been revealed for both the East and West sides. This year’s uniform design is fit for a King. Both uniforms feature a special pattern on the shoulders and the numbers that spell out the respective sides, West or East, in gold. Team West will hit the field in the all white uniform, while Team East will wear all black. Catch the players hitting the field in the 2020 look on January 4th.

The top High School Football players are on their way to Orlando to partake in the annual Under Armour All-America Football Game. The game gives Under Armour a chance to outfit the top prospects in special uniforms for the game. This year the two teams will sport a neon camouflage design within the numbers of the jersey, as well down the sides of the pants. The design is meant to represent the warrior spirit that landed each player a spot on the two teams, Team Savage and Team Pressure. 

Under Armour will provide their latest footwear to the players, the UA Clone Blur, Spotlight and Highlight cleats to provide the speed, agility and support necessary to make their play and match the flashy uniforms.

Texas Football will be wearing something different when they hit the field for the Alamo Bowl. For the first time in team history the Longhorns will not be wearing black or white cleats, but instead burnt orange cleats. Another first for the team’s footwear comes with the special cleats designed after the KD 4s. The Texas Football team has strong ties to Basketball Longhorn great Kevin Durant and with that comes special perks and gear that only Texas Football players receive. The burnt orange KD cleats have a metallic finish to them with black bottoms, knitting, laces and Nike swoosh. The Longhorns will hit the field in style when they take on Utah in the Alamo Bowl.

The Chargers will take the field this week in their Color Rush uniforms. The team will wear their royal blue jersey and pants to create their color rush look. Boise State has released their new blackout uniform for the upcoming season. This will mark the first all-black combination since unveiling the inaugural edition in 2012. The blackout uni has the new current theme with the two stripes on the shoulders. The lettering and stripes on the uninform are a dark gray coloring while the jersey numbers are outlined in blue. The collar on the jerseys will remain the Boise State blue with the words ‘Blue Collar’ printed on the inside of it. The helmet for the special alternate uniform will come in with a matte black finish and chrome blue horse head on the side along with chrome blue facemasks.

The 2019 Army uniforms for the Army vs Navy game will honor the soldiers of the 1st Cavalry Division. The special uniforms help tell the story of the birth of the Airmobility during the Vietnam war. The helmet for the special uniform comes in with an army green colorway, that features the Crossed Sabers and Cavalry Stetson on either side. The team’s jersey will be a traditional white with a block army green at the top. On the right chest of the jersey is the ‘First Team’ patch, while on the left there will be an ‘Army’ patch. The Army green pants will have United Stated down the sides, inspired by the same lettering used on the tails of the UH-1 “Hueys”. On the backs of each players helmets will be the Units logo from the 5 different Calvary units.

Navy has released their newest uniform for the upcoming Army vs Navy game. This year the team will honor the past with a throwback uniform from the 1960s. The uni will also pay tribute to the two Heisman winners in Navy’s history, Joe Bellino & Roger Staubach. The crown jewel of the uniform comes with the hand painted helmets. The helmets feature the same coloring as the heisman trophy along with two stripes down the center and symmetrical leather dimples on the front of them. Also on the front of each helmet will be the numbers 12 and 27 in honor of both heisman winners. The navy blue jersey will feature bold shoulder stripes giving it a retro feel and the team will sport gold pants to finish off the look.
