Georgia Tech Football Unveils New Uniforms to Launch a New Era
A new era has officially arrived on The Flats. On the eve of the official launch of Georgia Tech Athletics' highly anticipated partnership with Under Armour, the Yellow Jackets unveiled their new football uniforms for the 2026 season. the new collection delivers a modern take on one of college football's most recognizable color schemes.
The initial uniform set gives Georgia Tech the flexibility to wear up to 12 different game-day combinations, providing the Yellow Jackets with one of the most versatile wardrobes in college football.
The uniforms remain rooted in Georgia Tech's iconic White and Gold identity while incorporating subtle design details inspired by the university's campus. Across the chest, the familiar Georgia Tech wordmark takes center stage, while the interlocking GT logo appears on the hip of each pair of pants, maintaining the program's traditional branding.
One of the standout design elements is the custom striping featured on both the jerseys and pants. Rather than using a standard stripe pattern, Inspiration was drwan from the Kessler Campanile, one of Georgia Tech's most recognizable campus landmarks. The architectural influence creates a unique visual identity that connects the football program directly to the university itself.
The white jersey features metallic Tech gold numbers outlined in navy, paired with a Tech gold collar and shoulder striping that combines metallic and matte gold finishes with subtle navy accents. The result is a premium look that gives the traditional white uniform added depth while staying true to the program's historic aesthetic.
The Tech gold jersey offers an equally clean appearance, featuring white numbers outlined in metallic Tech gold and navy. Matching shoulder striping continues the Campanile-inspired design, creating consistency across the collection while allowing each jersey color to maintain its own identity.
Georgia Tech's pants options further expand the uniform combinations. The Tech gold pants feature a white stripe running the length of the leg with partial navy trim, while the white pants reverse the color treatment with a Tech gold stripe accented by navy. A third dark gray pant option introduces another modern look, pairing a Tech gold stripe with white trim to create additional game-day flexibility.
