Nike Turns the Sabrina 3 Into 'Grateful Duck' Cleat for Oregon
The Oregon Ducks baseball and Oregon Ducks softball programs are once again pushing the boundaries of athlete-exclusive gear, and this time, they’re doing it with one of the most unexpected crossovers yet.
In a move that perfectly captures Oregon’s reputation for innovation, Nike has transformed the Nike Sabrina 3, the signature basketball shoe of Sabrina Ionesc, into a fully functional baseball and softball cleat. And they didn’t stop there, They brought the Grateful Dead into the mix.
Dubbed the Diamond Sabrina 3 GD MTL, this player-exclusive cleat is built specifically for Oregon’s baseball and softball athletes, taking a performance model designed for the hardwood and reworking it for both sides of the diamond.
