Liberty men’s basketball team got a surprise with some throwback uniforms for their game. The Flames throwback look features an off white base with old school script font spelling out Liberty across the chest. The jersey and shorts shows off a retro red and blue striping and on the side of the shorts we see an old school Sparky the Eagle logo.
Penn State took down Virginia Tech in their Pink and Black uniforms. The team has introduced the black and pink uniforms as a throwback to the original colors of the University when they first introduced sports and later transitioned to the iconic navy and white colorway we know them as today.
The Timberwolves are ready to rock their Statement uniforms. The team will come out in the lime green uniforms that are sure to catch the eyes of everyone. The jersey features Minnesota across the chest in navy coloring with white numbers. The top of the jersey features a stripe pattern that we see on the bottom of the team’s shorts as well.
Ole Miss Basketball will add a Powder blue uniform to their arsenal on December 1st. The Rebels will take the court in an all powder blue uniform that features the Ole Miss M on chest in red. The jersey will sport white numbers and we will see the Ole Miss logo on the shorts with Rebels spelled out on the waistband.
The Brooklyn Nets revealed their Biggie-Inspired "City Edition" court to match their “City Edition” uniforms. SEE HERE The boarder of the court will feature DESIGN INSPIRATION FROM Biggie’s FAMOUS COOGI SWEATERS. We also see a crown logo that sits on the sideline right at the half court line.
The Lakers new City Edition uniforms will be another part of the Lore series they started last season. This year’s look was designed by three-time MVP-winner Magic Johnson to celebrate the Lakers' five NBA titles during the Showtime Era. The purple uniforms will feature black numbers with the Lakers yellow drop shadow. The pinstripe element to the jersey was inspired by Magic Johnson’s appreciation for fine suits and celebrates the achievements of the Showtime teams.
The Raptors will once again partner with OVO to create this years City Edition uniform. The new look will come in white with the gold chevron pattern on the front that reads NORTH.
The brand new City Edition uniform for the Pacers draws its inspiration from the state built on speed. From the Pacers in all caps and italicized on the front, to look like they are in motion, to the ALWAYS LEAD text above the jock tag of the uniform, speed is the key in this uniform design.
The Pacers also draw inspiration from Florence Griffith Joyner, the sprinter behind Indiana's famed Flo-Jo uniforms. We see this year’s City Edition uni come in gray with gold lines breaking apart a blue siding similar to that of the original Flo-Jo unis.
"It kind of represents Indiana as a whole," said Oladipo after trying on the jersey for the first time. "We're a very subtle state, but when it's time to get on and poppin', it's time to get poppin'."
The Cavaliers release their City Edition uniform. The team will go with a vibrant orange and blue colorway, a nod to the uniform the Cavaliers wore in 1994 for their first season in the new arena in downtown Cleveland. The iconic Cleveland script wordmark across the chest was a collaboration with Destination Cleveland. On the player’s jersey and shorts we see a wave pattern meant to represent Lake Erie. We see another nod to Lake Eire above the jock tag that reads “1 OUT OF 5 GREATS,” in reference that Lake Erie is one of the five Great Lakes. Finally on the vent flap of the shorts is an icon of the great lakes.
The Trail Blazers new City Edition uniforms have been revealed and feature ‘Rip City’ across the chest again this year. The design comes in the Trail Blazers primary red and black team colors with some gray added in. The front of the shorts show PDX to represent Portland, Oregon. The City Edition jersey will feature a sash with red across the chest as a nod to the City of Roses. Above the jock tag we see “Blazermania” as a term to describe the Trail Blazers fans.
