The Rutgers Football team will wear special uniforms commemorating the 20th anniversary of 9/11 this week. The Scarlet Knights will honor the 37 alumni that lost their lives on 9/11. The helmet for the special uniform will be silver with a red facemask. The right side features an outline of the Rutgers R, while the left has a black 37 representing the number of alumni lost. Also on the helmet will be some of the names of the alumni lost. The white jersey has silver horizontal stripes with “Never Forget” running down the sides. The finishing touch comes with special gloves that have “Never Forget” on the palms and the skyline with the World Trade Centers.

The Nebraska football team will wear special uniforms on the 20th anniversary of 9/11 this season. The uniform pays homage to all the first responders and military members, thanking them for everything they do. The all white uniform features a subtle camouflage pattern throughout it with bold red numbers on the jersey. The shoulder stripes and pants stripes are a grey coloring to match the facemask on the white helmet. The team will have special cleats, gloves, arm sleeves, etc. to match the uniform. The final touch comes on the helmet with the old NU logo on each side replacing the typical Block N.

Colorado State have revealed this season’s special Ag Day helmet. This year the rams will hit the field for Ag Day in a white helmet with triple stripes down the center with two green stripes straddling a large orange stripe. The Navy Football team has revealed special uniforms for their upcoming game this season vs Air Force. The look is inspired by the “Dress Blue A” uniform with white gloves, black cleats, red trim, and royal blue pants.

Special design elements are highlighted on the helmet, shoulders, and pant with the Eagle, Globe and Anchor represented throughout. The front bumper of the helmet highlights the distinctive Marine Corps battle cry of “OORAH”, while the Marine Corps motto, Semper Fidelis, commonly abbreviated as Semper Fi, is on the back of the helmet. The quatrefoil that dons the top of the Marine officer barracks cover is displayed on top of the helmet.

The pants have the famously known "Blood Stripe" running down the each side, this element first appeared on dress blue trousers in 1798. It was rumored to represent the bloodshed of Marines during the Battle of Chapultepec in 1846, but is more modernly known as a way to honor all our fallen and injured Marines. The actual uniform worn by a Marine is the only uniform within the U.S. Military designated to include this red, white, and blue color scheme.

We will get our first look at the special uniform for Navy Football during their game against Air Force on September 11, 2021. This date marks the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and beginning of the global war on terrorism.

The Miami Hurricanes have introduced the team’s newest Turnover Chain and Touchdown Rings for the 2021 season. This season the Turnover chain features a blinged out Miami Hurricanes Football helmet weighing in at 1 kilogram and the chain itself weighing 3.5 kilograms. The helmet has over 2,700 sapphires with white, orange and green sapphires making up the entire helmet.

NC State will kick off their season wearing special uniforms honoring the university’s most iconic landmark, the Memorial Belltower and the tradition of lighting it red following a big victory. The jersey features a design that mimics the Belltower's architecture with a 3D stone font on the numbers as well as the Belltower at the neck. The team will wear the slobbering wolf helmet that was released earlier this year. The pants will have the same slobbering wolf logo to tie in with the helmet. To finish off the entire uniform a pinstripe effect has been added that matches the sweater worn by Tuffy in vintage logos.
