The BYU Cougars are wearing a special uniform combo this week. The Cougars will turn the clocks back to 1966 with royal blue jerseys and royal helmets, paying tribute to the era when quarterback Virgil Carter suited up for BYU. The royal helmets will have gray facemask to finish off the retro head-ware. White pants with royal stripes will complete the special look.

The Ohio State Buckeyes will debut a special Color Rush uniform. The all-scarlet look includes scarlet jersey, pants, socks, base layers, gloves and spikes. The traditional Ohio State stripe is found on the jerseys shoulders and down the sides of the pants. The team will wear their traditional metallic silver helmets to finish off the uniform combo.

We will see the special look on October 30th when Penn State comes to The Shoe.

Virginia Tech has introduced a throwback uniform for this week from the 1999 era. The looks takes us back to the glory days when Mike Vick put on the Virginia Tech uniform. The maroon jersey features white bold numbers outlined in orange with the inverted colored scheme on the shoulder numbers. White pants and a maroon helmet will finish off the classic look.

Oregon Football team has introduced a special uniform for their upcoming game. The white uniforms feature a speckled pattern meant to mimic that of an eggshell. The look will feature the dark green helmets with the subtle dark green wing patterns on the sides.

The Milwaukee Bucks have received their 2021 NBA Championship Rings. The ring features 360 diamond on the top representing the total wins since the new ownership. There are 16 emerald shaped diamonds on the left of the ring meant to represent the 16 playoff wins during the 2021 NBA Playoffs. While on the right side another 16 emerald shaped diamonds for the 16 division titles in team history. The ring is highlighted with a total of 4.14cts of emeralds representing the 414 Milwaukee area code and 50 round stones on the inner bezel standing for the 50 years since the team’s last championship win.

The ring has a removable top that reveals a QR code that when scanned plays a video highlighting memorable moments from the season. The top also turns into a pendant that can be worn on a necklace.

"We wanted to once again rewrite the rules of what a championship ring should be. We sought to create something that had a bit more versatility than rings of the past. As championship rings have gotten bigger, they have become less and less practical to wear. We addressed this by developing a push button system that allows the players to wear the top of the ring as a pendant, making it a piece of jewelry they can wear every day around their finger or on their neck to celebrate their tremendous season.” -Jason Arasheben, CEO, Jason of Beverly Hills

The Green Bay Packers have revealed their new Classic edition uniform for the 2021 season. The Packers draw their inspiration for the new look from uniforms worn back in the 1950-1953. The uniforms are all green, with gold numbers and stripes similar to the jerseys worn in the 1950s. This alternate jersey, which is the Packers' traditional green color, with gold numbers and stripes, will be worn with matching green pants with gold stripes, and matching green socks.

"The 1950s were one of the most interesting times in our organization's rich history, creating the bridge between two of the greatest eras in pro football. With the NFL growing rapidly, this time period set the stage for the construction of Lambeau Field and for the team's success in the 1960s and beyond. The Hurricanes have revealed their Miami Nights 2.0 uniform. The blackout uniform will feature a black helmet with the Miami U on either side and a chrome orange facemask. The black jersey features an updated shoulder pattern that has green fading into orange. The orange numbers on the jerseys have the same woven design pattern that we saw on the 2019 Parley jerseys. The Hurricanes will also wear special cleats to finish off the Miami Nights 2.0 look.
