The 2021 UNISWAG Helmet of the Year nominees have been selected and now it is up to the fans to vote on which helmet will be given the crown for best of the 2021 season.
The NBA All-Star Game uniforms will celebrate the league’s 75th Anniversary Season along with the host city, Cleveland, with the design of the 2022 NBA All-Star Uniforms. Jordan will outfit he NBA All-star teams with unforms that feature typography inspired by the architecture of the city’s bridges, as well as giveing homage to classic All-Star uniforms of the late ’80s and early ’90s. The colors were drawn from the shine of a diamond against the blue and red of the NBA logo in celebration of the league’s 75th anniversary season. The blue also speaks to the prominence of Lake Erie, and the red is a variation on the fiery strength and resilience of Cleveland.
The Celebrity Game uniforms will be Converse uniforms and were created by designers from Converse’s local Boston- and Los Angeles– Community partners. The uniforms’ designs were inspired by stylistic cultural differences between the East and the West. The East uniforms nod to the resilience of the cities in the region and local street art. The West uniforms incorporate ’90s pop culture, including popular movies, television and music during that time.
The Air Force Hockey team has introduced special uniforms that are inspired by the B-52 bombers. The helmets feature a special Air Force SEA (Southeast Asia) camo pattern that was used on the B-52 aircrafts. The uniform is highlighted with orange letters, numbers and piping that pop against the black base coloring. The shoulders of the jersey are green and feature special patches to complete the look for Air Force.
The UCLA Softball team has recently switched their apparel partner to Nike and have a new uniform set. The team will have four different looks to choose from each game. The team’s traditional blue and white jerseys feature a subtle map pattern in the numbers on the jersey’s backside. The other two options will be white and grey pinstriped uniforms. Each jersey feature the saying ‘Champions Made Here’ on the inside of the neckline. To complete the looks for UCLA the team will have special team edition cleats to choose from as well.
The Navy Midshipmen Men's and Women’s basketball teams featured special uniforms that honor the fighter jet, F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. The navy uniforms feature the roundel, which adorns aircraft piloted by all branches of the military, on the shorts for both teams. The jersey has Navy across the chest in white with white numbers to complete the uniform.
The Cincinnati Men’s Basketball team have introduced special throwback uniforms. The Bearcats will honor the teams from the 1970s with the retro look. Across the chest of the jersey will be a script retro ‘The Cats’ spelled out with red piping and retro number font. We will see the Bearcats wear the look two times this season on Thursday, Feb. 3 and Saturday, Feb. 26.
The Aggies Men’s Basketball team has introduced special throwback uniforms this season that honor the 1979-80 team. The uniform is a subtle light gray colorway that features ‘Texas Aggies’ on the front with the player’s number in between the two words. The sides of the shorts feature a large maroon stripe running down them with the Texas A&M logo within it. The classic maroon and white stripes finish off the retro look for the team.

The Colorado State Men’s Basketball team introduced the fan favorite State Pride uniform. The look takes its inspiration from the Colorado state flag. The white uniform features a blue and red color scheme while featuring Colorado State across the chest. The blue numbers are outlined in red and we see the side stripe of the jersey feature a bold blue stripe with a smaller red stripe as an accent. The stripe runs into the shorts that also feature the state flag.
The Houston Cougars Men’s Basketball team has introduced a fresh throwback for the team to add to their uniform rotation. The Jordan branded uni highlights some of the greatest teams that have hit the hardwood for the Cougars. The throwback look was first worn in 1959-60 season and last worn in 1985-86 season. The throwback uniform was worn in 14 NCAA Tournaments & 5 Final Fours for the Cougars as well as in one of the biggest wins of the Century.
The white base look features Houston across the chest in red outlined in navy blue. The player’s numbers are the same red with navy outlines. The thick retro stripes outline the jersey and shorts to finish off the retro fit.

The Tampa Bay Lighting have revealed special ‘Gasparilla’ themed warmup jerseys. The Gasparilla jerseys celebrate the Tampa Bay annual pirate festival. The front of the black jersey features a skull and crossed swords with the Lightings logo in the center. the numbers on the back and sleeves are a pirate themed, finishing off the special look. We will see the Lighting hit the ice on January 29th when they take on the Golden Knights.
