The NFL has released the 2019 Sideline caps for each team. In celebration of the NFL’s centennial season, each team’s new home sideline cap will be based on design-styles popular of the time the team was established.
“We sat down with the league several months ago to talk about what we could do to commemorate the NFL’s 100th. We wanted to celebrate it in an authentic way, so we started to think about how we could separate the teams into decades.” -Ryan DiNunzio, New Era’s director of football
It has been almost 5 years since OBJ made “The Catch” that put him on the map. To celebrate his “larger-than-life” game and how he got there, Nike will release The Nike Vapor Untouchable Pro 3 OBJ cleats. The cleat design is meant to symbolizing Odell’s pass route that lead to “The Catch” with details featuring a gold linear design on the upper. On the sides of the cleat we see a nod to OBJ’s Scorpio sign as scorpions are stitched into the cleats. While on the toe box of the cleat in gold stitching is his personal logo. These special cleats will go on sale July 25th.

As the Tarheels start to prepare for the upcoming football season the team got to see their new facilities that feature a new weight room and locker room. The new lockers feature three fans in each to dry helmets, shoulder pads and knee braces. There are a variety of storage areas that feature USB ports to power the players devices within each locker. The new weight room will have over twenty custom-designed lifting racks that will feature the UNC logo along side the Jumpman logo.

Nike has released the 2019 Week Zero Trainers for their top schools ahead of the 2019 NCAA Football season. Each pair of kicks features the team’s colorway with their logo on the backs and tongue, along with a custom insole unique to each school. The silhouette for this year is the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Sneakers and are available now.
The LSU Football team has introduced their brand new Football locker room, which is unlike any other in the country. The new locker room is located in the heart of the newly-renovated Football Operations Facility. Upon entering the new locker room the first thing that pops out is the sight lines with no closed-off rows boxed into walls. The open design is meant to maintain a connection between players, who are now connected across the entire room.
The Locker design was inspired by first class found in an airplane pod, and the goal was to combine openness along with an area for each player to rest. Each player’s locker comes in two parts, with the upper portion includes digitally locked storage, charging ports for personal electronics and helmets, as well as custom name plates for each player. In the the lower portion of the locker we see an overwhelming amount of features including; a seat that folds out into a bed for napping or recovering, an iPad dock for watching film, more charging ports, and a custom-fit cup-holder for hydration. Each portion of the locker connects to its own ventilation.
The locker room also features a stand alone mudroom with shoulder pad racks and shoe dryers separates the locker room and the practice field, that offers additional layers of sanitary protection.
“We study sleep, we study post practice recovery. So we knew sleep was a big part of it, we knew meditation was a big part of it, and we knew there were some devices, therapeutically, that are a big part of it. So we said, ‘Well, they spent a lot of time the locker room. Why not, instead of having a sleeping room – which some people have – let's create their own pod, let's create their own area that they can recover?” -LSU Director of Training Jack Marucci
The Tigers have a dedicated space to celebrate their former greats that are playing professionally. Right outside the locker room is an NFL corridor honoring former Tigers, with blank jerseys that rotates between the former greats in their LSU uniform to his professional uniform and even showing highlights of his play at both levels with a special projector system.

Tennessee Tech football has released their new uniforms for the upcoming 2019 season. The Golden Eagles have released two helmets featuring an all white look with a wing design on one with the other showing the TTU logo on both sides. On the team’s jerseys we see Tennessee Tech written across the chest with gold outlining the numbers on both the white and purple jersey. The pants and jerseys will also feature a matching stripe on the shoulders and down the pants legs. We will keep you updated on anything else Tennessee Tech releases during the season.
The Florida Gators have started to release some of the cleat options their team will rock this season. The blue Jumpman cleats will come in a variety of options that will fit the player’s position and style preference perfectly to achieve the best cleat for performance. We see six different options so far, all with a blue upper, the white and orange bottoms in the iconic Jordan print, and gator logos throughout. We will keep you posted as more colorways start to roll out for the Gators.
The NFL and Nike have released a new set of jerseys which they are calling the “Inverted Legend” Jersey series. The jerseys look to be only for retail at this time and take the teams colors and inverted them giving the team a fresh look with their secondary color. Florida’s Head Football Coach, Dan Mullen, is hitting the SEC Media Day in style. The Gators official apparel provider is Jordan and one of the perks that comes with the partnership is access to retro jordans. Coach Mullen took it a step further and customized the kicks with an alligator skin pattern in Florida Blue. As well as on the tongue of the shoes features the gator head logo with DM on the back of the shoes. Media Day has turned into a time for coaches to show off their swag and represent for their teams while catching the eyes of recruits.
The Florida Gators have unveiled their newly renovated $1.5 million dollar game-day locker room. This locker room will continue to be the home of the Gators football team until the projected $85 million Florida Football Training Center is complete. The new renovation include, new graphics, lockers, carpet, lighting and technological updates, as well as the team's lounge. After the completion of the Training Center this locker room will continue to serve as the game-day locker room for the team.
