Manchester United has released their official 2021-22 home kit. The inspiration for the new kit is drawn from the home kits that were worn in the 1960s. The finer details of the jersey highlight the core value of the club with the words ‘youth, courage and success’ found on the inner-collar. Gold trimmings is found throughout the kit with a gold devil at the neck, shorts and socks.
Manchester City has revealed their new home kit provided by puma. The kit draws its inspiration from the iconic 93:20 goal from the 2011-12 season that provided one of the greatest moment in the club’s history. Throughout the entire Skye blue kit a subtle pattern of a digital clock is found repeated all over. On the inside of the neckline is the 93:20 digital time giving that final bit of detail on the kit.

Formula One has revealed their new car for the upcoming 2022 season. The new car has been designed to allow for closer racing and the potential for more overtakes throughout a race.
The cars will now feature over-wheel winglets and wheel covers. The job of the over-wheel winglets is to help control the wake coming off the front tires and direct it away from the rear wing. We will see, for the first time in F1, 18” wheels with low-profile tires.
The new cars will also have a new front wing and nose concept that is another way that F1 will ensure that the front wheel wake is controlled and create a more direct disruption of the airflow. On the back of the car we see a new rear wing that features ‘rolled tips’ meant to create a rotational airflow that collects the rear wheel wake and rolls it into the flow exiting the diffuser and forming an invisible ‘mushroom’-shaped wake. The new design will make for a more competitive race come 2022.
The Los Angeles Rams have released their newest jersey that are a modern throwback white jersey. The new look is inspired by one of the classic Rams uniforms and pays homage to the jersey worn by Hall of Famers Jack Youngblood and Jackie Slater when they led the Rams to a Super Bowl appearance at the Rose Bowl in 1980, by Hall of Fame RB Eric Dickerson during his historic 1984 season, and by the record-setting offense known as the “Greatest Show on Turf” in 1999 when the Rams won Super Bowl XXXIV.
The new Modern Throwback pays tribute to older design elements with the inclusion of the ram horns on the capped sleeves and have a good blend of weaving in the modern design elements.
The official Team USA roster is set for the Tokyo Olympics and the superstars have put on the iconic uniform. The blue uniform features a subtle horizontal striping pattern throughout with USA across the chest in white. The jersey features a navy piping, while the shorts have a red stripe at the bottom.
The NBA has released their 2021 Draft Hats that we will see handed out on stage to the newest NBA players. The hats feature a two-tone colorway with the official team logo cropped within an alternate team logo on the front. The NBA 75th anniversary logo will be embroidered at the right-wear of each hat side.
The Durham Bulls have revealed special Stranger Things inspired uniforms for their upcoming Stranger Things Weekend. The look takes its inspiration from the iconic Starcourt Mall with a black base and neon pink and blue colors. Across the chest of the jersey is the Starcourt Mall logo with Durham Bulls in the unique font that mimics the mall’s sign. The hats will feature the Bulls logo in the neon pink with the Starcourt Mall logo behind it.
The MLS has officially revealed the 2021 MLS All-Star jersey that will be worn when the team takes on the Liga MX All-Stars. The game will take place at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles and draws its inspiration from the host city. The black jersey was inspired by the Art Deco architecture that is found in Los Angeles. The jersey features a unique reflective trim that shines on the black jersey and is a nod to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. Located on the right sleeve is the LA21 All-Star Game patch, and on the neckline are LA themed icons of stars, ocean waves and freeways as well as the No. 25 to signify the 25th MLS All-Star Game.
We will see the jerseys hit the pitch on August 25th.
Nike SB has revealed the special kits for their skate teams to wear in the Tokyo Olympics. For the inaugural year’s federation kits, Nike SB created kits for the United States, Japan, France and Brazil. Each design highlights recognizable cityscapes, inspired by the attention to scenery found in Japanese art. Each kit was inspired by a sport that is linked to the specific country: a baseball jersey for Japan, a basketball jersey for the United States, a tennis polo for France and a soccer kit for Brazil. The finishing touch comes with a bird on each kit that symbolizes the sprit of each country: Japan a Crane, United States an Eagle, France a Rooster, and Brazil a Toucan.
“When we talked to Piet about the designs, we asked him, ‘Take what’s happening in Tokyo out of the picture for a second; if you were to make a kit on your own, what would it be?’ We started to see the natural connections between a landscape and the act of skating. The San Francisco Giants are the latest team to reveal their City Connect Uniform. The uniform puts a focus on the Giants orange and draws inspiration from the fog that is iconic in the Bay Area. The front of the jersey features the Giants G with a special gradient pattern that is meant to resemble fog the gradient continues on the back numbers of the jersey. We see the city’s iconic Golden Gate Bridge, and the historical landmark makes appearances across the jersey’s sleeves as well as the side of the uniform’s orange cap.
