Georgia Tech has revealed new uniform sets for both their Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams. Each team will have three uniform sets to wear throughout the season; White, Gold and Navy Blue.
The all white uniform features the stacked Georgia Tech wordmark across the chest for both teams, with gold numbers outlined in navy. The gold uniform for each team is a nod to the tradition of the Institute, with the Men’s jersey featuring Tech across the chest and the Women’s with he full Georgia Tech wordmark. The alternate navy look for each team has the GT logo on the chest and the Buzz logo on the shorts. The teams may choose to mix and match some of the jersey and shorts combinations to give different uni combos throughout the season.
Louisville has revealed special throwback uniforms that are inspired from the 1950’s era. The throwback look will feature basic white helmets that have an old school paint job that to mimic the leather helmets from the 50s era with a single red stripe down the center. The red jerseys will have white numbers and shoulders stripes with a special retro logo on the back of the neck. The same retro logo is found on the hip of the pants, as well as bold retro stripes running down the sides.
The Cardinals will hit the field in the retro look on November 20th.
The Chicago Bulls new City Edition uniform draws its design ideas from the Art Deco style found within Chicago. The jersey features a special Chicago wordmark and number font that received its inspiration from the directional signs at the United Center. Running along the sides of the jersey is an Art Deco pattern inspired by the diamond pattern from the shorts. On the sides of the shorts we see that iconic Bulls diamond shape with four stars representing the Chicago flag. The placement of the stars is meant to mimic rivets in the ironwork of the skyscrapers. The finishing touch comes above jersey tag reading ‘NO LITTLE PLANS’. This quote pay homage to Daniel Burnham, the city planner who designed the city of Chicago after the great Chicago fire. His famous quote about Chicago is “Make no little plans; they have no magic to stir men’s blood.”
The New Orleans have released their new City Edition Uniform. The look gets its inspiration from the municipal flag of New Orleans. The new jersey mirrors the flag of New Orleans that features a white base with three gold fleur-de-lis across the chest, that is red stripe above it with a blue collar. The shorts feature the Pelicans traditional “Fleur-De-Lis” logo on the waistband, along with NOLA in gold on the edge of the blue stripe at the bottom of the shorts.

UNC has revealed special throwback uniforms for this weekend when they take on Wake Forest. The retro uni combo is from the 1990s and features the old-school navy trim with the signature Carolina blue. The Carolina blue helmets will feature the retro center stripe with white facemasks. The Carolina blue jersey has a heavy navy drop shadow on the numbers with navy and white retro shoulder stripes. The look will be finished off with white pants with thick navy and Carolina blue stripes down the sides.
Marshall will honor the 75 people within the football program that lost their lives in the tragic plane crash 50 years ago. The Thundering Herd will wear special helmets that feature the number 75 on the side. While the black jersey and pants combo will feature Marshall across the chest of the jersey in white with green outline to match the players numbers. On the inside the neckline there is the date 11/14/1970 the day of the tragic accident stitched into the fabric of the jersey. The team will wear black accessories to finish off the special look.
Mississippi State has released their new blackout look. The black helmets for the Bulldogs will feature a silver facemask with silver and black Mississippi State logos on either side. The black jersey has a reflective silver numbering and shoulder striping that should shine when the light catches it. The look will be finished off with black pants to complete the Blackout look. As of now we will see the Bulldogs take the field in their new black look on 12/12.
Michigan State will wear retro helmets to honor Coach Perles. The Spartans will have their green helmets feature the block S on the right side of the helmet with a bold white center stripe. The front of the helmet will feature the players number straddling the center stripe. The left side of the helmet will be left blank like it was back when Coach Perles was coaching.
NC State has revealed their latest alternate uniform. The new look is named “Blood Moon” and draws its inspiration from the astronomical phenomenon that makes the moon appear red during a lunar eclipse. The matte black helmet will feature large Tuffy logos on either side. While the red jersey will have updated black numbers that are outlined in reflective chrome and across the chest will read WOLFPACK. To finish off the look the team will wear black pants, cleats and gloves. We will see the Wolfpack take the field in the new look on November 14th.

The Memphis Grizzlies will celebrate the history of the team with special throwback threads this upcoming season. The classic look is taken from the 2001-02 black away uniform and in recognition of the teams 20th season in Memphis. The jersey will feature Memphis across the chest with the players numbers below it. The black uniform will be highlighted with red and turquoise throughout it. The shorts will feature the Grizzlies bear logo on the side with the bear paw logo on the waistband to finish off the classic look.
