Orioles Braille Jerseys

The Orioles have become the first American professional sports to wear Braille lettering on their gameday uniforms. The Orioles will take the field wearing special jerseys that have braille letter on the front and backs of their jerseys. The team is doing this in conjunction with the National Federation for the Blind, which has been headquartered in Baltimore for the past 40 years. The Orioles will also be handing out Braille alphabet cards for the first 15,000 fans who show up at Camden Yards for the game. The special unis featuring Braille lettering are being auctioned to benefit the National Federation of the Blind at http://Orioles.com/auctions.
