The annual UNISWAG Uniform of the Year voting has concluded and the results are in. We would like to thank all of the fans who voted this year giving us our highest vote count of just above 100,000 vote throughout all of the categories.

Each year the sub award nominees are put together by the UNISWAG Uniform Committee and presented for the fans to vote on which uniform they feel was the best.
For the overall Uniform of the Year Award each team that wins the weekly award is an automatic nomination for the end of the year award. To make sure we include on all deserving uniforms we have added a last “At Large Bid” slot that the fans vote on which uniform may have been over looked but deserves to be nominated. Once all the nominees are in we allow you the fans to decide who is most deserving of the UNISWAG Uniform of the Year Crown.
The Duke and UNC Men’s Basketball teams will meet for the 100th time this weekend. For the special anniversary of this iconic rivalry Nike and Jordan have revealed special uniforms for both teams. Each team is set to wear their schools respective shade of blue giving a color on color matchup. The front of the jerseys only feature the teams logo, no player numbers. The design is inspired by the first time the teams met in 1920 and mirror the look of the jerseys then. On the inside bottom hem of the jerseys the Roman numerals MCMXX-MMXX are found, which translates to 1920-2020. The final touch come with a gold jock tag and gold ELITE tag on the neck, the gold touch signifies that the program has won at least one national championship as a Nike school.
The Arizona Sun Devils Men’s Basketball team broke out a classic uniform for their Pac 12 showdown. The look paid tribute to the days when James Harden was a Sun Devil, with the gold jersey and shorts featuring the maroon trim and Sparky on chest of the jersey and sides of the shorts. The numbers and lettering on the uniform come in with a maroon base outlined in white. The backs of the jerseys remain nameless and only feature the players number.
The MLS has revealed new jerseys for their team’s as they head into the 25th season. The league used different stars and celebrities to introduce the new look at a fashion show type reveal. Take a look below at each team’s new look.
Team USA will be decked out by Nike for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020. The medal stand apparel will be a base white color to allow for the different medals to stand out against a blank background. The jackets each athlete will wear are made from 100-percent recycled polyester, while the pants are 100-percent recycled nylon. There will be rubber elements, such as the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Team logos on the chest. Some USA teams get new uniforms including basketball, skateboarding, soccer, and track and field.
Basketball turns the clocks back with their uniform inspiration. The U.S. women’s team will go with a red uniform that is reminiscent of its popular design from the 1996 Games. The men’s team will go with a retro design with USA in blue over white underneath red shoulders.
The U.S. soccer teams will both wear white home jerseys with navy shorts, while the away kits come in with a navy jersey and navy shorts. The away jersey design features a camouflage-inspired design in lighter blue across the chest.
Skateboarders making their sport’s Olympic debut get a unique look with colorful and loose-fitting designs inspired by the skateboarding culture.
Team USA’s track athletes will have a powerful design that features electric patterns of red, white and blue with matching compression sleeves.
The MLB has released their 2020 Spring Training and Batting Practice caps. This year the design features a logo within a logo style for each team. The performance fabric features a light breathable mesh with moisture-wicking material, with the team’s logos embroidered on both the front and right side of the cap. We see on most of the caps the team’s main logo on the front crown with their specific colors while the side logo is more of the team’s secondary logo. Take a look at each team’s look below.
Western Kentucky Men’s Basketball team will rock special blackout uniforms Thursday Night when they take on LA Tech. The black based uniform will feature white letters and numbers outlined in red to match the red and white piping seen throughout. On the front of the jersey the word mark Western Kentucky will be split around the players numbers. The shorts will have the WKU W on the front of the waist band with WKU Towel logo on the bottom of the shorts.
The Miami Hurricanes Baseball program has released their lineup of uniforms for the 2020 season. The team will have quite a few options to pick between when they hit the diamond. The Canes will be able to sport their traditional green jersey that features the Miami script across the chest in white with orange numbers. The Miami script is continued on a Pink and white jersey combo as well as a digi camo jersey, both sets have specific hats to match. The final uniform that was released is a black jersey with full buttons and the Miami M on the left chest with the player’s number on the right side along with a black hat to match. We will keep you updated if the team releases any special uniforms throughout the season.
Coastal Carolina Baseball will have plenty of uniform combination to choose from this season. The team revealed nine combos that they will hit the diamond in. The line up features a full pinstripe uniform, black jersey, teal jersey and traditional white jersey. Each jersey will be mixed and matched with different pants to create a new look each time for the team.
During the College Football regular UNISWAG RATED THE TOP UNIFORMS each week LEADING UP TO THE UNIFORM OF THE WEEK WINNER. THE WINNERS WHO WERE SELECTED RECEIVED A CUSTOM FOOTBALL AS THEIR AWARD. EACH TEAM THAT WON THE UNIFORM OF THE WEEK AWARD WILL BE NOMINATED FOR THE UNIFORM OF THE YEAR AWARD.
