Kansas State Baseball has revealed a new uniform that the team will wear next season. The new uniform is a retro look for the Wildcats. The jersey is a white base and will feature an old school stripe across the chest in K-State’s two shades of purple, as well as a purple collar. Within the strip we see the wordmark ‘Cats’ written out.

The Houston Dash have introduce a new secondary kit for the upcoming season. The design gives a nod to the Houston Oilers with the Columbia Blue colorway. The white jersey is nicknamed the ‘Luv Ya Dash’ after the Oilers’ Luv Ya Blue Era, and features a blue band across the chest of the jersey with two thinner lines in the team’s traditional orange. The stripe is another way the Dash pay homage to the Oilers’ as it is similar to the stripes found on the Oilers' pants and helmets between 1966 and 1998.

The Portland Thorns FC has revealed the club’s new kits for the 2020 National Women’s Soccer League season.

The team’s primary jersey has been named the ‘Dark Rose’ and will the club’s first black jersey in their eight-year history. The design pays homage to the City of Portland with dark roses design found across the entire jersey with the nike logo, team crest and jersey sponsor in red hues. The club’s secondary jersey has been named ‘Untamed Thorn’ and features a thorn design throughout the light uniform. Both kit includes the marker “B.A.O.N.” on the inner neck that refers to the fan phrase “By Any Other Name”.

“We are really excited about these new kits. With each jersey, it’s an opportunity to expand our club’s visual language and these designs are a bold and compelling evolution of our iconography. I think our athletes and supporters will love them.” -Alex Kocher, creative director for Thorns FC

Last season we saw a good amount of team’s wear retro uniforms, and teams did it in different ways. With the NFL’s one helmet rule it really limited some teams that currently have a different color helmet shell compared to what their retro uniforms would have.
